My son Matthew 19 will arrive in Haiti with his Unit Ist Battalion 9th Marines part of the Marines 24 MEU.I have known many men and admired a few.But Matt is cut from a different cloth. He has always volunteered to help those less fortunate. He could have been accepted to any college, but chose again to serve.he has a wife and year old daughter.please pray for him and all these fine Patriots and all the people of Haiti.

  2. Any forum members here know of anyone who has a 3 bedroom home for rent in the Camp leuene area? My oldest son is deploying to the middle east next month.I want to be near my granddaughter while he is away.So she will have someone to help mom while dad is gone.I have tried Cl and the local paper to no avail.Daughter in law lives in an apartment and i have alot of eqiupment.Any help is appreciated.Merry Christmas Semper FI!

  3. There is not a day that goes by that i am not thankful for all the blessings and freedoms that i have.My step-father fought for this country in WWII and my son continues the tradition in the first batallion ninth Marines.I think sometimes we become obessed with our posssesions. The possibilty that I may lose my sister at the same age as my mother (53) has given me months to think about how fortunate I am to have lived these 46 years and that my children and granddauhter are healthy.

  4. Just pulling your leg man.If Seti says you ok that's good enough for me.I have some old Philips and Stephens fullrange drivers.Any ideas about enclosures.12 and 15 inch woofers.I'm also looking for a JBl D130 16ohm to put in my C-37.I have heard the Tannoy Gold's in monitor speakers they were very good.I heard the Churchill also very good. The Royals are spectacular as well i assume.

  5. Congrats on great speakers.I love mine their imaging is as good as my Khorns.I would listen for sometime before thinking about upgrades. If it ain't broke and sound good that's all that mattters mine are 32 years old and still sound great.Although i may replace the tweeters soon.

  6. My son Matthew is in the 1st Battalion Ninth Marines. He is the finest son a father could ever have.He will be going to Afghanistan within a few months. When I asked him why he wanted to join.He said:So my little brother doesn't have to go.He has a wonderful One year old daughter and wife.He could have attened the college of his choice, but chose a military career instead.I thank all who are serving and remember those who have fallen.Like what you have thank a veteran.

  7. Thanks to all for your kind thoughts and prayers. You guys are the best. She starts radiation this week and we are praying that she will not lose her voice. One vocal chord has been removed as weel as some nerves and one Jugular vein.Whenever i get tired and frustrated after dealing with all this,I look to her and think how in the world is she handling this with such grace and dignity after losing almost everything.you have our heartfelt thanks! john

  8. My sister Karen has stage 4 Thyroid cancer.A very rare type Tall Cell Papillary Carcinoma,I am having a difficult time understanding why she is the exact same age as my mother 53 when she died from cancer some twenty years ago. Both times it has been the incorrect diagnosis of a doctor. Both times insurance premuims were paid for years with no claims. We have fought tooth and nail with the insurance companies.I don't guess $800 a month is enough.Anyway when i was in my young and stupid days hurt and going through the pains of a serious accident and the hell of addiction to prescription drugs. She was the only person that saw good in me and never gave up.I don't understand why it is always the good people that seem to suffer the most. Please keep this wonderful woman in your prayers she is truly special to me and everyone who knows her. Thanks!
