Sorry for this late reply .I forgot the login Password. R-5502-W is reference series . Means more sensitivity than THX series . I beleive you will be hearing crisp dialogs with little low side channels. THX standards are very critical to room acoustics AMP and room dimensions . I have installed almost every model from klipsch from cinema-6 to RF-83's. I had the utmost difficulty in mounting the ultra -2 KS-525's . You should use a enclosure that is 3.75" in depth and pack it with a layer of glasswool . A 20" cavity will totally spoil the infinite baffle adherence. Since the surrounds are less dynamic in a movie it can be mounted on the ceiling as it is. Good luck and best wishes. Regards Rajesh [Y]

Hi, Since RF-82 is 8" double driver i would advice to set it to large . The centre is always crucial but in your case you opted for a small sized centre with respect to the front's. To avoid exessive cone movement set the centre to small and the rear's RS-52 as well. This will lessen cone distortion and leave the 12" sub to handle all the lows in phase with the front's . Beacuse the front's are set to large, wideband signal is transfered to the fronts. So maintain 0 degree Phase on the sub to avoid roll-off's. I am asuming you have taken care of the room acoustics well. Set crossover frequency to 80 Hz . Hope this will do. Regards Rajesh

Hi everyone Happy new Year Thanks for the replies [] .Had used Denon and then changed to Yamaha 1600 . The surrounds are more detailed and all speakers are crisp....Just type klipsch and Yamaha in google search and you can see from sep2004 Klipsch had been working hand in hand with yamaha japan to get better performance . so i think ideally Yamaha suits Klipsch very much. Tell me your ideas too.... The RF-7 has been always on top and now replaced with RF-82 smaller drivers and an extra driver added in order to compensate smaller width but depth is increased to maintain the volume of the cabinet. I got a pair of RF-62 , RC-62 and a pair of RS-52 with RPW-10 ... What is the best Av-Receiver I could match ? In terms of RMS watt output ? Please help !
