  1. I have read some of the post about mounting the RS-52s, and they say that they use the Omnimount brackets. My question is the Klipsch web site says the mounting keyhole bracket is a dual 1/4"-20 thread insert. And the Omnimount bracket says it has a main shaft 3/8"-16 thread shaft. How does this work. I just want to make sure I get the right bracket the first time. Klipsch web site http://www.klipsch.com/products/details/rs-52.aspx Omnimount http://www.ultimateelectronics.com/shopping/product/detailmain.jsp?itemID=3704&itemType=PRODUCT&iProductID=3704 Thanks
  2. I recently purchased the RF-82's and now I am looking for a AVR for my HT. I found a NEW DENON AVR-2307CI on E-bay for $634.84 delivered. Will this receiver do the job for the price or is there a better option for the money? I mostly use my system for movies. Thanks
  3. Frequency Response? RS-52 Specifications frequency response 62Hz-23kHz +/-3dB RS-7 Specifications frequency response 58Hz-20kHz ±3dB Which is better? 62Hz-23kHz +/-3dB or 58Hz-20kHz ±3dB. For HT what kind of frequency response are you looking for. Is the lower the number the better? If this is true them would you get the RS-7, RF-7 and the RC-7 speakers instead of the RF-82 Home Theater System. Thanks
  4. I primarily use my HT for movies. Every now and then I will listen to music, but I want my movies to sound good. Thanks
  5. PB12-NSD/2 vs PB12-NSD It seems reading this forum that some think that SVS makes better Subs than Klipsch for the money. I was just wandering between these two which one would you purchase? Someone here at work thinks that the PB12-NSD/2 might be over kill. The room is 19' X 18'. Do you think that the PB12-NSD would do just fine or is it worth spending the extra $300 and get the 2 12". PB12-NSD/2 = 1-12" PB12-NSD = 2-12" Thanks
  6. Does anyone have any suggestion on which Sub you like better and why? Klipsch RSW-10d vs SVS PB12-NSD/2 Or maybe even a suggestion of another model that they might like better. My DAD has the Klipsch model and it sounds good in his room but I have not heard the SVS model. But I have read about the SVS in this forum and people say that you can get a better Sub than a Klipsch. Thanks
  7. Nothing yet but that system comes with the RSW-10d Subwoofer. Would you recommend something else? I have heard that the SVS are a better Subwoofer than the Klipsch Subs. True or not?
  8. Which Denon will do the job for the RF-82 Home Theater System. There is almost 30 Denon receivers to chose from, actually less because I dont have an unlimited bank account if you know what i mean. I would like to spend around $500 or so if possible. I do not have and hdmi imputs at this time so that is not a necessity. I just want something that will have enough power for the RF-82 Home Theater System. I dont want to get a receiver that will not push the speakers and be unhappy. I use my system mostly for movies and watching TV. I listen to the radio and music very little, mostly for movies. Thanks
  9. I was looking at getting the RF-82 Home Theater System but my wife does not like the size of the speakers. The in wall surround speakers do they sound anything like the RF-82 Home Theater System. I know that is probably a silly question but I have to ask. Is there a good in wall system that will do the job. I guess money wise the in wall system would probably be a little cheaper right or wrong? If someone here has the in wall surround sound system and could give me a little heads up on weather or not they would go in wall or the big speakers please let me know. I use to have a bose surround system I know bose sucks but my wife liked the size of the speakers and I told her that i would check on how the in wall speakers sounded but i do not want to regret getting the in wall later down the road. Thanks
  10. I'm looking at getting the RF-82 Home Theater System. Will the Denon avr-2805 do the job? I found one of ebay for $82 with 3 days left and $30 shipping. What would a good price for this receiver be? Thanks again
  11. When I purchase a receiver what is the Min. watts per channel I should get? I was thinking at least 100 watts per channel, is this enough? If a receiver says 100 Watts x 7 Channels Power Output (8 Ohms, 20Hz to 20kHz, .08 THD) will you get more watts if you only have a normal 5 speaker surround sound system? Would you get 140 watts per channel? Thanks
  12. I am new to all of this stuff first of all. If i get a receiver that says 75 watts per speaker and I have a Carver 500 wat amp can I use the carver amp to boost up the watts per speaker? Thanks
