  1. Yeah, I hooked them up to the HT and they sound good in just 2 channel, but my center channel isn't matched at all so it sounds awful doing 5.1/6.1/7.1 So am I getting the impression that the newer RF series of speakers doesn't even compare to the Chorus line? (i.e. RF-7, RF-83, RF-63)
  2. Well, I'm in a bind. My wife hates how big the Chorus's are. I hear about it every day. So...I think the only way I'll sell these speakers is if I can find another pair that is thinner with the same great sound. Are there any current speakers, Klipsch or similar, that will sound similar?
  3. hahahah! Well at least I know if I want to I can keep my speakers What shocks me the most is that you guys are willing to give up your CW's and Chorus's
  4. ..........Good point! For Sale: Wife, 25 yo, thin build. Won't let you have big Klipsch speakers.
  5. Eau Claire, Wisconsin. About 90 miles east of Minneapolis, MN.
  6. I was able to pick up a pair of Chorus I's (WO) for $50 local pickup off my work classifieds. Other then one of the binding posts being broken off 1/2 way they are mint. I'm still waiting on the Klipsch parts department to get back to me...I was told they might have an OEM replacement. I have an upward battle against me though...I brought these home and my wife think's their too big. She wants to sell them and get a smaller pair I told her I wont sell them until I get the replacement part so hopefully I don't hear back from Klipsch...they still work great using banana plugs.
  7. Seriously....that would make things look much better then screwing on a different looking post. Mind pointing me in the right direction to locating this part? edit: I'll start by contacting the parts department Thanks!
  8. It even comes with the original paperwork
  9. I went and picked up the speakers....they are excellent condition except for one of the binding posts is broke off. For $50 I say it was a good deal <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> So.....now, I just tried taking off the back terminal plate, but the crossover is attached and I didn't have time to take apart things yet. Am I able to simply take off one of the posts or am I going to need to try and find a replacement plate? If a replacement part is the way to go does anyone know of any places to try (obviously ebay would be one of the areas). Thanks!
  10. Hey, I've got the opportunity to buy some Klipsch Chorus speakers at a very low price. I'm wondering how they compare to the Chorus II's and how much they have been going for lately.....just to see if they are a good deal or not. Thanks!
