It looks like it to me also, plus I am not technically smart enough to fix something like this... does it look like the lights on the left side of the faceplate are dim or burnt out?

When I was at my local Tweeter last night, I asked the manager if there were any good deals on receivers. One of my buddies is looking for one, and I thought that I would do a little fact finding for him. The manager of the store told me that they purchased a number of units from Sears that were made by Denon. These units are the same as the 3802, but have a different face plate on them, and the number is AVR 1082. This is a $1200 unit that they are selling for $699. He said that they have quite a few, and they have been distributed to many of the locations. I have not seen the unit, but the manager says it is the best deal he had on A/V receivers.
I hope someone on this forum can capitalize on this deal.

The description to me is just like the card board boxes you see regular speaker come in, where they sit inside a styroform padding on the top and bottom. Only in this case it will be reinforced with ply wood just like a cage of sorts........
i didn't understand the ED comment???? why shouldn't he speak?

I think this is personally a great job. they will be wrapped in cotton batting,card board wrap and shrink wrapped. Plus wrapped in blankets to the crating facility.........

We had this discussion, last week -can't find the thread.... IF you have that much to spend - go with Dell-get brochures- and lay out everything you want, BEFORE, you call or go online. Whoever you go with, when you place the order, have them send you confirmation, showing excatly what you ordered! You should only have to spend 1,000.00 to get a high tech, slamming, system...IMO. Good Luck.
