Yes it is screw down and I have RCA jacks with wire on one end that I purchased at Radio Shack but it only has two wires and the amp has a positive a negative and a ground on each terminal?

Thank you I have that manual. I was wondering about how to hook the power amp to the receiver that has RCA input when the power amp has a positive ,negative and a ground wire?

I wanted to use 1 of 3 of these Com-Tech 200 amps I have and use my Kenwood KR 9600 as a preamp but I noticed the amp has 3 terminals for each channel.How do I make that work for the RCA 's in the Kenwood ?

You need two 3uf caps two 8uf caps and two 33uf non-polarized caps.I ordered from Parts Express Solen or Dayton did not have a 8uf caps so I used 8.2 caps not sure if they make 8uf but Parts Express did not have that value .I have not tried any of the High end caps but I may get a pair of Al K's crossovers for a pair of La scalas I plan on getting in 3-4 months.

I did notice a big difference in the sound of the KG-4's with the Solen caps in place of the stock ones.The ones I am doing as we speak I am not hearing as big of a difference with the Dayton caps but these caps I replaced I am not sure if they are stock.They aren't the same as the stock caps in the ones that I have the Solen caps in .These are Seacor caps I do not know if the owner that had them before me had replaced them but I can say the Solen caps are much better than the Dayton 1 % metallized polypropylene caps and the Solen caps cost less???

Just put new caps in another pair of KG-4's . I have Solen in one pair and went with Dayton on this pair and the caps in this set are Seacor is this a stock Klipsch cap or did the person I purchase these from replace the old ones?

Any idea what the part # at Parts Express is for the autotransformer for the T2a?

I have solen caps in 1 pair of my KG4's and I just ordered Dayton %1 met. polyp. caps for another pair and will compare the 2.It will be interesing to see if there is any differance in the sound.

It sounds very nice.I have 3 pair of Heresy's , 2 Heresy 1's both have Bobs Ct-125 driver but one has the K-55-M and the other a has a Selenium D250-X driver in the mid with a 12 watt 8 ohm non-inductive resistor. The Heresy 11's are stock with new Solen caps in the crossovers.The Heresy 1 with the D250-X I have Solen caps and the other Heresy I have Bobs Soni caps. They all have there own sound however I must say that the K-55-M's with the Soni caps have the best sound for my taste.

I built a pair of Birch Heresy's and I have K-55-M drivers in them with the type E crossover . I think the type E crossover calls for the K-55-V in the Heresy 1's or is the K-55-M the same or do I need to make a change in the crossover for the K-55-M?

It is not bad and I did take your advice and turned it to another speaker channel and it did not pop. Thanks if I replace it I will get a Pioneer Sx1250 or a Sansui 9090DB or as I said in my earlier post I will use it as a preamp and use one of my crown Com-Tech 200 amps .

Had this for 20 + years it has been a great receiver I guess I will have to let it go.

I have 3 com-tech 200 crown amps could I use one of these and use the Kenwood as a preamp if the powerpacks go bad?

I have some of my speakers playing on my KR 9600 Kenwood receiver and when I turn it off sometimes it pops any cure?

Sorry that would be for crossovers and I did contact him but they sold oh well I have 7 pairs I am running out of space so I may go bigger a sell off some of the Heseys and KG4's and KG5 but I like the sound of all these so it is not easy .Rincon was going off .

Thanks for the info I have filled in the damaged areas from shipping stained and will apply Polyurethane coat next. They look OK and I think I am being kind to myself about that OK anyway they will be surrounded by a case I built so I can put my KG4's on them. The 3 pair of Heresy"s with KG4 's on top of each Heresy has a nice sound the bass in the KG4's is a nice complement to the Heresys. Thanks Again

Not sure what year your Chorus 11's are but you should change your capacitors in your crossovers look on your capacitors and find out ufs then visit Parts Express on line and order new ones may cost you around $30. if you get Solen caps.

Check with Parts Express 1-800-338-0531 or go on line they have alot of Eminence woofers that you could get a match for your Tangents.

Of these two caps is there a better or is it preferance?

No did not see the ones in Oxnard are they on ebay or criags L ? Anyway I have these and a bunch of extra drivers and crossovers so I am going to build another pair of Heresys.

I just purchased a pair of birch Heresy cabinets and they need some TLC.Is there a good wood putty to fill in deep scratches that will not sand out?
