  1. I don't see anywhere where it says (DX) local/distant settings. I am using a FM dipole antenna(300 ohm)with 2 screw connectors and does have an F connector, and Model # RVX-361 Yamaha.
  2. Coskie, they won't overshadow the Synergy speakers as you do have control over the amount of volume(level) that will be applied to them, the centre is sensitive so that you can turn it down withoput sacraficing quality in your sound. As far as the rears go, same thing applies and they aren't that much different than your mains, depends on how much power you will be applying to these per channel. If its not very high, staying with the Synergy set will make you happy.
  3. FM station is being revceived. It is everywhere on the dial, no AM station, new installation of new 5.1 receiver. The problem started asap, and the FM station is within 3 miles of me. RF62.
  4. Hi All, I have a problem with some radio interference and its driving me nuts. I have a Yamaha receiver and the signal is coming in loud and strong, but so is this high pitched ringing. Somewhere around the 16kHz - 20kHz range. I'd like to eliminate it if possible. Does someone have an idea. Help would be appreciated. THX.

  6. Hi Coskie, IMO, I'd go wioth the reference series if you want to get the best quality in sound and in well...Quality. Don't compromise and if you can spend the extra, do it!! Especially for the centre speaker as this will carry most of your dialogue and clarity when viewing movies, and video games. It also has 2 different crossover frequencies for the centre, so therefore giving you better sound by breaking up the different sounds(frequencies...High to Lows) each driver doing its own thing. Go Reference or go home. []
