I would like to know is anyone has done a comparison between the RF-7 with the DeanG crossover modification and the new RF-7 II?
I hear they took it to a new level and I was just wondering since I have the regular RF-7 with the DeanG mod. And I like them very muck.
Cheers

Has anyone compared them with the RF-7's with DeanG mods?

Parasound Halo is light years ahead of Denon. Japanese still can't match America, Canadian and Europian amplifiers.

I have a Marantz DV 9600 with the Underwood hi fi full mod and it puts my Sony blueray to shame. I love the Marantz.

I AM LOOKING TO BUY A PAIR OF RB-75 SPEAKERS.

Thanks.
Besides the RB-75's What RF's do you recommend for rears?
They must be right against the wall though.

I presently have a set up that consists of RF-7's for mains and RC-7 all with DeanG mods.
Surrounds
are RS-7's and since I listen to a lot of 5 channel SACD music I am
thinking of dumping the RS-7's an buying RB-75's or perhaps RB-5/RB-5 III am also open to RF's number ???? for rears but, they all most
Please advice:
be either mounted or place right against the wall due to room
configurations. -
I am using an Anthem AVM 30 pre-amp. I hooked up the Threshold S/300 to the RF-7 and I bi-amped the RC-7 (two channels from the Classé CAV-150) and two channels to the RS-7. Sounds great. I have two subwoofers Velodyne DLS5000R and they blend excellent with Klipsch.

Sold the Halo A-21 and purchase a 1985 Threshold S/300. I sent it to Jon Soderber for upgrades. He replaced the Capacitors, installed Cardas binding posts and a Ixys fast recovery diode. This amplifier in really nice with my Dean Wescott modified RF-7.

I have decided on the Halo A21 for the fronts. I bought one on Audiogon and expect delivery sometime this week.

HI Dean:
Yes, I put the Aragon 8002 up front bi-wired and I just couldn't quite get that musical sound I desire for stereo listening.
I guess I am an AUDIOHOLIC. LOL. Someone I work with recommended these amps and I'd like advice.
My sincere thanks to all of you.

I have a pair of RF-7's with Dean Wescott crossover modification and I want to buy an amplifier for 2 channel listening.
I am currently using A Classé CAV-150 150wpc for home theater 6 channels and I have a chance to buy a
1. KRELL KSA 80B 80 wpc pure class "A"
2. Classé CA-200 200 wpc class "AB"
3. Parasound Halo A21 200 wpc 8 wpc class A and the rest AB.
Please recommend between these three amplifiers.
Thanks.

I bought a set of
http://www.calabrine.com/
Calabrine Quadio true bi-wire speaker cables for my front Klipsch
RF-7's and a bi-wire for the center Klipsch RC-7 speakers about a year
ago. Recently I decided to have the center channel cable upgraded to
true bi-wire. (4X4) instead of 4X2. I contacted Calabrine and I sent in
the cable on Monday. I had the new cable in my possession on Friday of
that same week. This is without a doubt the very best customer service
I ever had and to top it off there was "NO CHARGE"
I am a customer for life.
Thanks Paul. -
I used to have Bose 901series VI. I now own Klipsch RF-7 and I am very glad I got rid of theBose.
Remember this: IF IT HAS NO HIGHS AND NO LOWS IT MUST BE A BOSE!!!!

Bird's name is Beaver and is a Yellow Nape Amazon parrot.

My RF-7's are bi-amped using Sunfire Cinema Grand 5x200 to the woofers and Aragon 8002 to the tweeters and they sound sweet.
