    Speaker wire size for RS-42's?

    My receiver is sitting below my line conditioner. You just have to place all of your interconnects and speaker cables 90 degree from the power cables.

    what about at the back of the receiver or pre/pro - there are that many speaker wires and power cables back there and i dont think mine are 90 degrees from each other, if they are it would be by a miracle.

    i'll check it out tonight, it doesnt sound too hard... so 90 degrees thats to the left or to the right... just kidding...

    If you have to run speaker wires (or interconnects) next to power cables, make sure that they are placed 90 degree from each other.

    Yes, I had heard that as well. You want the least amount of contact with power and signal as possible.

    last night I watched Apocalypto for like the tenth time and the sound to me is incredible.

    GREAT movie!!!

    [Y] absolutely.. its all about inner strength.. just keep on pushing yourself forward as you never know what might happen.. if you can get past all the gore in this film you will see the absolute brillance in it.. it is one of my favs for sure,,,

    ok - back to this thread.. yep.. if it was me I would get the 64 for sure.... hey that rymes [:D]

    i agree with what jrod said whom agreed with youthman and pete

    i have rc7 with rf35's and i love it..

    down the track you may find a super deal on rf83's

    with the 64 you can always lower it by a db or half a db so the centre wont be overpowering..

    Hi Daniel,

    has it always sounded like this or has something changed which has created a lack of mid range..

    i would first run an auto calabration on avr and see if this fixes the problem.

    you have a fantastic setup tho..

    RF82 + RC52 + RS10 Any good?

    well the thing is that i can get the RC-52 for a lot less then the 62 since we don't sell the 62 i'd pay full price for it.

    But the center is so important in HT.. since you work there is it an option to try the rc52 and if you feel that the vocals is lacking you can return and then pay full price on the rc62.. at least this way you can try before you buy..

    DallasF1 - first, does F1 in your id stands for formula one racing as I am a massive fan and cant wait for this year when schumi has a drive.. should he stayed in retirement time will only tell eitherway the sport is much better with him in a car than out I recon..

    ok back to why we are here.. Sound.. Klipsch Sound.. Congratulations and love the pics in the 'lets see your home theatre thread' the pic with the grills on is fantastic.. personally i prefer the grills on on any speaker.. not a big fan of the naked look at first glance, you have to leave something for the imigination..     Problem with new Panasonic Plasma Television

    d-rex - you may have one of the very few bad ones, I have panny plasma as well and like everyone very happy with it. I also have another well known brand plasma and the panny IMO is a far better picture, different model than yours though.

    like what has been said above if you can take it back on warranty then that would be the way to go i think.

    yep, what wuzzzer said..

    In my opinion I would rather have my mains trying to keep up with my centre than my centre trying to keep up with my mains as you can always lower the db on mains to match the better centre. and at least this way dialog is not compromised. and the rc7 is the right match for the rf5.

    Man i wish i had a pair of rf5's when I was 21. I am 36 now and I still dont have them.

    I say wait for the rc7 to come along and this will give you time to save that little bit extra.

    as for the rc3 I have never heard it in operation mode

    also for the explosion thingy at night in 2 channel mode have you tried the night option on your avr or pre or lower down the effect mode.

    I have not heard from him since, so I don't know if he ever got it up and running correctly

    what do they say... no news is good news

    he is probably too busy re-watching all his movies in the correct sound format to see what he was missing out on.

    tigerman - you know what i think of your system and theatre room and we all love seeing pics - thanks for sharing and I believe you have/can inspire others that they can have this as well if they had the dedicated room and time.

    Funny, I was just finished watching the first four episodes of season 2 and agent Charles Carmichael is outstanding. Can't wait for the third season on DVD.

    if you like the first 4 episodes of season 2 then you are going to love the last 4..it gets very interesting and life gets much more complicated for Chuck.
