  1. Most Blu-ray players out at this time are Profile 1.0. As of October 2007, Profile 1.1 became the madatory standard. Great blu-ray players like the Denon 3800bdci and new Pioneer elite BD-05 (due out in August 2008) are only Profile 1.1. They internally decode DTS MA and True HD. The 2.0 players are not out until the Fall. Panasonic BDP-50 and Sony BDP-550 are due out soon. They too will be 2.0
  2. The Ipod music is compressed audio. The songs lack definition.
  3. I am running a 20 amp circuit for the receiver and audio gear. Does the subwoofer need a separate circuit?>
  4. Will the amplifier add anything to my system or am I better off getting a new Pioneer or Denon with 140wpc?
  5. I could,t find a way to pull up the thread. I have a Bush segments stand which will accomodate the size of the speaker, yet the shelf is tempered glass and I worry about its ability to support the weight.
  6. How about Klipsch RT-12D?
  7. For those of you with the RC64, Is it on a stand? What does your stand look like? Where did you get it?
  8. I was looking to get more power. I was looking to get a 200wpc amplifier. I would use my 7.1 channel Onkyo and was considering either the Emotiva or Outlaw amp.
  9. What's the easiest way to hook up my components? I have a 200wpc / 2 cchannel amp. Can i simply put the pre outs to the Onkyo? I I better off letting the Onkyo do all the configurations and processing
  10. How do you like the Klipsch and Denon Combo? I have an Onkyo and was looking to get the 4308ci.
  11. I have a new Onkyo 705. I am running the Klipsch RF-63, RC-64, RS-62 and RT-12D. I Have a Kenwood 2.0 channel set-up. Can I run the components(ie CD player, AM/FM tuner , Tape deck) from the Kenwood processor to the Onkyo? Or Must I set up each Component separately to the Onkyo?
  12. I got a new RT-12D. Do I Shut the LPF off or set the cross at 80? What about phase setting?
  13. I was running a 2 channel Kenwood up until now. I have been reading the Onkyo manual. It is a new receiver given to me as a gift last Christmas! Still not set up. I have heard the Denon may be flat, yet it looks like a great recever. I have a Denon DVD-3930ci. It is built like a brick house. The Realta chip does great upscaling So Denon quality has bitten me.
  14. I just got RF-63, matching center RC-64 and RS-62 and RT-12D. I have yet to set it up. My current receiver is an Onkyo tx-sr705. Will this be a good match for the speakers? I was thinking of upgrading to a Denon 4308ci or a Pioneer txh-94. Should I keep my receiver? Is the Denon or Pioneer a better match?
