  1. I would not waste my money on upgrading to the SVS. They get great reviews, but with a room as big as yours, DIY or other ID sub comapnies would be a far better bet.
  2. Marc's 53 footer in carbon with locking plugs on one end and bare on the other.
  3. possibly split the two, then daisy chain the other two.
  4. You could always build you a stand and have it any color you want.
  5. hes not far enough south to call em yard sticks. Us rednecks down here do that. I got a 32 white Ipad. total suprise.
  6. One is mine, one is my wifes, and one for a fellow firefighter.
  7. Yep. I'm too good of friends with Alex and he takes very good care of me.
  8. FWIW, both the SVS PB12+ and the aforementioned Rythmik outperform the VTF-15H down low (25Hz and below). The Rythmik was the standout in the Audioholics comparison with a fair output advantage through most of the range, although the updated PB12+ will offer a bit more output down low (20Hz mark). The only thing I have against them is that there is nothing in the way of objective data on either and precious little in the way of subjective reviews. They do look menacing though.I can tell you will have a review on two of them soon.
  9. I should have my subs in jan. I'll give you a review on my two monsters. Jtr captivator 1000 is nice also.
  10. MultEQ - MultEQ pro- MultEQ xt32- MultEQ xt32 pro. This is the order
  11. I'm not really sure your move was more lateral considering you weren't really taking a "huge" jump. Having Xt32 to me is for people with dedicated spaces, two subs, and a tough room. Waste of money for a living room system. Pro is an extra $700($550)+($150 liscense). With xt32, it has way way more filters compared to the other versions. With pro you can actually see what your room is doing and can tweak the filters and load them into the avr or prepro for more of a flat response. If you really want to find out more about it, go to the avs thread on audyssey pro.
  12. sony DBP-S580 doesnt need an adapter. I bought my little boy's sony 570 for $139
  13. IMHO, i bet the hum or buzz is still there, but just more inaudible possibly because of the lower wattage or noise floor of the Outlaw.
  14. Dons 15 foot sub cable in Fire. Belden 1505A cable and Canare connectors.
