  1. Plus the fact that he is wearing a neoprene wet suit....two buckets of water...I don't think so!!! they had better rub that slide down with axle grease or friction would have stuck him about ten yards down the ramp.....ever go to a water park and the water stops on the giant slide for just a min....ouch!!!

  2. "BTW there is a product called Sphincterine, for just such occasions ..." I actually did Google Sphincterine and there apparently is such a product that exists...for humans, not cats. Very interesting for persons with relevant nether interests.

I haven't had a problem with cat sphincterprints on my Klipschorns. Some pawprints yes that wipe right off but that's all. Occasionally the oldest of my three, a dinosaur mongrel Persian longhair named Smokey whom I adopted when he was already fully grown in 1996 and who must be now at least around 15 or 16 y.o., leaves a gift that ain't just sphincterish but is the whole enchilada. One or another of the two younger brats seem to be emulating him occasionally. But it's all on newspapers right next to the litter boxes, so tolerable. Part of my morning wake-up clean-up detail. Reminds one of our proper place.

Of course, who are we to judge? As another poster noted, Egyptians used to revere cats as deities and cats have never gotten over that.

And then there are Dogs. Go to the Garfield cartoon today (8/21/09), I shouldn't repeat it here because of copyright but look for it on Google.

LMAO....I heard the term Shphinterine somewhere once....but didn't know that it existed.......

now on the other hand my three slobbering bulldogs, never leave any presents.....but I do believe if CSI ever blacklighted my house they may just think an orgy took place....from the cast off slobber......you get the idea! They know better than to come near the klipschorns....nasty evil sounds live in those boxes....yep, dogs much stupider than cats!!!

  3. LOL! It looks so obvious now. I don't know how I misread that as La Scala 2. First it would have been II and not 2, and the apostrophe-s was obvious. We see what we want to see!

Good price for nice La Scala's in Canada... Great price.

So remember guys ....."the crux of the biscuit is the apostrophe" [:D][:D][:D]

  4. German Accent on:

the heritage line are representative of rather large speakers, 12' to 15' drivers, containing much power and authority!

your dreams concerning these objects focuses on your figurative obsession fearing you have a miniscule phallus, and your desire to have a large powerful male member ....zisss is quite common in the male of the species, wishing to have the biggest, most powerful, ummmm speakers......[;)][;)][;)][;)][;)]

oh and your hidden desire to posses your mother and kill your father

that will be all the time we have for today....please remit payment to the receptionist, who by zee way has very large woofers....

  5. Bryston is a great company with great service....they have a 20 year unlimited warranty.....I'm sure if you called there service dept, they would answer any and all questions about the amp....Canadians! LOL So you got a B4 aaye.

congrats and let us know how she sounds once settled in......

  6. Yeah, I don't know about Toyota's dealers. The Lexus dealers are just so easy to work with. They treat you like you are really someone important and they are thrilled and honored to have your business. And, I am so not important....

I tried to get my wife to buy lexus...this time around, but she had her eye on the Acura....which is supposed to have great service also....

she took it in for her first oil change (they threw in a few free services) she made an appt. got there on time and the service manager acted like he couldn't give a crap! Finnally got the car in 45 min after her appt. time and then they proceeded to take three hours with her waiting for a lousy oil change!!!! They promised her one hour max!!! I gave the manager an ear full the next day, and he wasn't even apologetic!!! I told them to get stuffed and that they would never have my business again....

I do know several people with Lexus and they have nothing but raves about the service dept.

That's when you call Acura's Concierge's number at 1-800-594-8500 and you give them an earful. The more negative things they hear about a dealer, the fewer cars they get alotted to them. I've done it a couple times and even got a call from the service manager with an appology while he was gritting his teeth.

    Thank M. F. I will give it a shot....

  8. Yeah but...Compare a lexus dealer to a Toyota dealer...I tried to buy several Sequioas through the years and the dealers ran me away. Maybe others are better but the Toyota dealers here really suck

The Lexus dealers are top shelf. Basically you are paying for the "L" badge and customer care. Well worth it IMHO.

Funny thing is...I could have gotten an almost identical used lexus version of my used Toyota Land cruiser (the lexus has wood veneer and some other schmaltz) for about $2k less .... I guess the bling turned me off.....But Id get a new lexus GS in a heart beat!!!!

There were a ton of lexus lease turn ins but almost no land cruisers available......hey $60++ K vehicle for $30 k out the door 3 years old and 35 K miles.... I new it would be out of warranty in about a month, so dealer service was not important to me as I have a great local garage..... best vehicle I have ever owned!!! by far....

  9. I have had similar experience...had a Rover..... POS!!!! now I have a bomb proof Toyota Land Cruiser (every bit as plush inside) that I will own untill the body rusts out around me!!!!

sorry for your frustration Win....you really think businesses would be bending over backwards to retain customers these days!!!

  10. The sst came out around 1999-2000? the newest that just came out are the sst2 ...new they both listed around $3500 and if I'm not mistaken Bryston has an unlimited 20 warranty that is transfersble....best to check with bryston on the details....

here is a pick of what the SST looks like.....I would run not walk to buy it at $700 if it is an sst.....good luck

  11. The older bryston 4B usually go for $400-$500 on agon..... the newer 4b St and 4B sst go for considerably more $1200-$1500

they have a great reputation and I auditioned the 4B SST (but not with any klipsch) and I was impressed

I can't speak for the other stuff but the amp if in great shape may be worth taking a look at everything??? I wonder what year the amp is from?

  12. I had a 2505 and really liked it with my cornwalls...... I lucked into a Sansui au-9900 that was just benched and liked it a little bit better, but it was a toss up....I finally wound up with 9 amps in my collection and sold the 2505 for a nice profit on ebay (even though I did offer it here for about a month for about half what ebay brought)

kinda wished I kept that one.....it was a very nice amp and really wished I could have test drove it with my JM BBX.....probably would have made a world of difference over the Mac pre i was running....

If the price and condition is right....you can't go wrong with a 2505.......you may want to look into a nicer pre amp ....I was never impressed with the early Mac SS preamps and their tube pres are $$$
