Got my room at the Holiday Inn!

I know I'm in the minority, but I tried the 511B's and didn't care for them.

I'm about to start some speaker building projects that I've been putting off way too long. Since almost everything I have is Klipsch Oak Oil, I want my projects to match. I know that the finished product is smiliar to a Minwax "golden" oak, but what did Klipsch start with, Red Oak or White Oak?

John,
Check with DaddyDee if your interested in oak LaScala cabs. I think he might have some he would part with.

Replacing the K77 with this new tweeter is a no-brainer. Big, big difference for the better.

I check out the Klipsch "display" every time I go into Best Buy in Little Rock, AR. It never works! I think it worked one time when it was brand new.

I am a professor, and for many years had a girlfriend named Ginger. Top that.[]
Was she a stripper?
Well, no, not by profession. "Ginger" on GI was a "movie star," remember?
My Ginger is actually in the process of becoming a professor herself. Hey, that sounds like an idea for a modern spinoff.
By the way, trivia fans, who knows Gilligan's first name? The Skipper's name?

I'm impressed with Light-O-Rama. It looks like what I'm in the market for.

Dee,
You got it. Unfortunately, I may have waited too late for this year. Sure hope someone knows how to do this.

Just saw a story on the national news where this guy in Ohio synchronized his house Christmas lights with music. I'd like to do this on a smaller scale... my Christmas tree. I realize it's done with a computer and some software, but what else do I need? Please educate me as to how to do this.

As others have said, the only "unknown" is the wooden horn. I'd like to get some black LF bins and veneer them nice and pretty to match a couple of wood horns sitting on top. Put together some custom grills. Get a couple of the 2" drivers and an electronic crossover along with time delay and your in business. This is very "do-able".

I guess the reason that I was looking at the 21" horn is because that is the only one listed specifically for a 2" driver. I really wanted to go with one of those big B&C or Klipsch drivers.

Dean,
Nice looking horn. Do you think that would be better suited than the 21" horn? That's the one I had my eye on.Tony

Those Martinelli horns are nice... I could definitely live with that big 21" treble horn. I sure would like to find out exactly where the original wooden horn came from... somewhere in Italy. Does anyone know of any other place out there making wooden horns?

I will have Jubilees as soon as I figure out what I want to do about the treble horn. Sure would like to have the wooden horns that came from Italy.

We did a side by side comparsion with the K-Horn in Feb., 2001 in the Klipsch theater room. (which no longer exists) There was quite a difference. I've listened to the Jubilee in several different "rooms" (treated & untreated), it sounds good everywhere! This thing just has authority!

I know on paper the Jubilee doesn't go as low. In real life it seems to dig pretty deep to me. Maybe others that have heard it will chime in. In fact, everyone I know that has heard it has been very impressed. Maybe others will chime in... DaddyDee, BEC.

I have K-Horns in my basement with 12" solid walls and the low end doesn't sound as tight as the Jubilee.
In Feb, 2001 the HF driver was the DE85.

I'm the one that scored the Heresy's. I'm picking them up at the factory, so that helps out on the purchase price. I'll let everyone know what the "imperfections" turn out to be.
