  1. I hooked up an SC-1 Center, but did so by combining the front left and right channels. This was by neccesity, as I cannot power it with the center channel output from my decoder. My question is.... Basically it works, but am I missing anything that way, or is that a decent solution? Any thoughts?
  2. Hey Friend, Saw you need one of these, I have the ADS 2000, I may be selling it shortly. I paid $95 for it, I'd be willing to sell it for $75. Let me know if you're interested, you'll get first dibs. Good luck.
  3. Ok, so maybe this was a good idea in theory, but now I'm confused. I have been using the Pros with a MidiLand ADS 2000 DD Decoder, and it works great for DVD movies. Except for the phantom channel is not loud enough to hear the soft dialogues in movies (an example is X-Men, when Patrick Stewart is looking at an x-ray of Wolverine, I cant hear him talk). This isn't really the fault of the Pros, because due to my room parameters, I had to mount the front speakers about 10 feet away from each other. So, I decided to get a "real center channel" and thats where the problem now lies. The Klipsch SC-1 is just looking for a powered signal from the decoder. Bad news, the decoder has only a mini-jack center output, with just the signal, no juice. I have a subwoofer amplifier from partsexpress.... How do i connect this to make it work, or am I screwed? I kinda tried to make it work last night, by connecting the sc-1 directly into the front-left channel output of the Pro subwoofer, but the sound was weak, was only the left channel being heard, and obviously because of the way I hooked it up. I'm not against having to buy a receiver and ditching the Midiland decoder, if I have to that. Any ideas?? Thanks!
  4. SAM_D, No extra bass is being added with the Bass Shakers, it is only giving a "feel" to the bass, by vibrating you. At least I think that's what you're saying....anyways, here's a link for you to check out if it interests you. Aura Bass Shakers
  5. I also am interested in this question. If anyone can provide a link or explicity describe the process, in layman's terms, that would be of great benefit. I for one, am simply starting to read so much info it's strating to jumble up and make no sense. "I need a memory upgrade my friend, from CRUCIAL!" (That damn guy sure is annoying, no?)
  6. Rol1: Thanks a ton! How come I've never heard of this option at all? I've read these boards up and down, and this has not before crossed my path. Odd. Sounds like this can basically eliminate my need for a receiver now...I'll go and read the full article now and verify it. Thanks again!
  7. I have the promedias. (Obviously) How can it be hooked up with a SB Live Value? I currently use the pros with my line in for TV surround, and DVD's. Can both be hooked up with the Shakers? Any help, is appreciated, thanks!
