---BUMP--- We need some help here

Lol... this is not port noise now... it sounds that there is something stuck in the subwoofer and seems to be vibrating and making some excess noise that is pissing me off. And no, I didn't put anything in the sub through the port. LOL!

How would I reduce this port noise?

I am running it %50 on the preamp and %100 on the Windows control panel... if I crank it more then that it keeps clipping it out. My sub volume is at the 10 o' clock position. Maybe it's the kind of music... it is basically hip-hop/rap... What I mean by clipping out is it has a little rattling sound, "farting" (LOL) if you want to call it... Can you guys check... here is one particular song... Rascalz - Where You At Hmm... maybe it's time for a KSW-15...

I have a 21" Sony Trinitron Multiscan 520GS and it is great.

How loud did you crank them if you got complaints from neighbours?

That's all nice but what is the cone made of in the sub?

Some sort of fibre I assume... what would it be? How durable... I want to crank my speakers to 100%... I need to get it louder and louder because I am getting deaf My sub enclosure shakes a lot! Even when at 33% audio volume.

Ok... but would you recommend something from Cerwin Vega then?

I am considering buying a new CP-1 preamp but I am reluctant hearing various peoples stories. They said that they have returned the preamp as much as three times. So my question is... is the preamp problem-plagued or was that just the misfortune of a few people.

What is the loudest sub I can get! I'm looking at something from Cerwin Vega Those subs look nice ... low wattage but high output. What do you guys think? I'm looking for something with ultra low distortion and with <20Hz frequencies.

When I turn the volume up the first 33% there is a very noticable scratching noise. There is no scratching in the music but whenever the main volume knob is turned there is a scratching noise. Any ideas? Thanx for the help.
