I had to wait ten months for these speakers and returned them within three days because of the over-heated AMP. I got the repaired sub and replaced sats after two months. Now they are working fine. Guys, I'm bit confused about the Slot loading DVD. Won't dust be a problem for the Slot loading drive or it has some sort of dust proof mechanism. Let me know. Thanks.

Hi Roboto, My speakers are also in Singapore and I don't know anything about those right now. After using it for only three days it is very hard to return it for replacement or whatever? I returned those speakers 25+ days ago. Hope you will have some good luck in getting it fixed.

It looks like Midiland ADS2000 decoder to me. As far as I have heard it is also sold seperatly online. Some company from Taiwan made this decoder of Videologic, Midiland and others. Another thing you might notice that it doesn't decode DTS. Today I returned the Pro's to the local retailer and they said they will try to get the replacement to me ASAP. DwK, there is no problem in getting the 5.1 but I didn't want to wait any more cause I have already waited for more than nine months. Thanks for you help. I really apprecaited it.

I got those speakers last wednesday. Local retailer brought the speakers for me from Tat Chuan Audio of Singapore (Klipsch dealer in Singapore). Tat chuan gives two years warranty according to their papers.

Today I tested my speakers with Sound Blaster Live 5.1 DE. The problem was very clear. I tested my speakers which was at about 50% (Sub & Main), Winamp at 80%, Surround mixer at 80%, Wave at 80%. When I tested the 4 speakers in surround mixer all the speakers started to make heavy crackling noise which was unbearable. Some of my friends who heard those speakers before in my house and were amazed with the quality of my speakers, now they are just shocked. They can't belive what happened to my speakers. The crackling noise is so clear that it is very annoying. I Think I have to send those speakers for replacement.

Swerv, The problem wasn't there before. It worked fine. I have posted all of my settings in the BB. It worked just fine. Nothing was wrong then. It happened all of a sudden. How hot the sub can get? I'm little bit confused about that cause after using the speakers for 15 minutes with or without sound sub gets too hot. At that moment I can't touch it for 2 seconds. It's damn hot. Is it normal?

Can you plz tell me about your software and Control Pod sound settings?

Hi Roboto, Hoping that you have recognized me. I do not have loudness problem any more. For some reason it has increased by a huge margin then initial output. But my new problem is crackling sound. At a reason able volume all the speakers statrs to crackle. Don't why. I think I have to get a replacement finally. But it will be a very hard task for me. Amy, how will I know that my sub-woofer is suffering from heating problem?

Hi Guys, When I play THX Ultimate bass test.mp3 (Downloaded from Napster) My Pros starts to make crackling sound and the sound is very high and very annoying. My control pod settings are subwoofer 50%, surround 75% and main 50%. But I have played the mp3 before without any distortion control pod settings were subwoofer 70%, surround 75% and main 75% without any distortion. My sound card is live value and sound setting in software is Main 80%, wave 100%, Bass & treble at 50%. When I try to hear Limp Bizkit or anything, which has tight bass all the speakers, starts to make crackling noise. Is it OK or do I have a faulty speakers? Please let me your comments. Thanks.

I think it's pure bad luck & some fault with the hardware or settings. Nothing else. About these speakers, they worth my money and wait.

Something is happening with my speakers. Sound output is increasing With time. It is very louder than initial output. I think they will get more louder after few hours of listening. Now I am really really impressed. Amy, thanks for the reply. I will let you know what is happening.

Is there anyone who is going to reply to my messeage. I have changed my control POD settings to Main 55%, Sub 90% and surround full to get what I have accepted from their 40% of seting. Anyone any suggestion.

Hi, Finally Promedia 4.1 has arrived in Bangladesh and I have it; but something is wrong. I am not getting the expected sound output from the speakers. Sound quality is amazing and everything sounds so nice that I cant believe it. But After waiting for 9 months and paying around US$465 I thought it could have given me more power. My current configuration is Pentium 200 MMX, 96 MB EDO Ram, Intel TX chipset motherboard, VOODOO4 4500 PCI 32MB Vram, Asus 50x max CD-ROM drive, Sound Blaster Live! Value, 2.1 quantum HDD, 14'' monitor, Windows 98 Second Edition 4.10.2222 A . I have checked all the cables and connections. I have tried everything except re-installing Sound cards driver and Windows 98 SE. At Live! Value Surround Mixer Main is 75%, Wave and CD are 100%. At control POD of the speaker, main volume at around 40%, surround at 60% and sub-woofer at the indicated position. Now what should I do? Anything from anyone? Amy, Seb, Paragon, Hofy, The Rocker, Fawwaz, Roboto where are you people. Please help me. Or should I be pleased with what I have got. Thanks in advance.

It's like the reviews of Klipsch. All of them says like Klipsch it is perfectlty built. Some of them said it is better than Klipsch. Did any of you guys demoed it personaly? or do you have the speaker? If yes, then please let me know your comments about the Digitheater DTS.
