i am thinking about buying the quintets due to the damn promedia speakers keep going out on me, i was wondering if any of you guys have any sites or whatever to where i can find the best deal on them. also what reciever would be good for the quintets and my pc, i plan to use them as my pc sound system. i have a gtxp soundcard.

well i just made me a pc and installed xp on it, for some damn reason i have been at it all night and still cant fingure what the hell is is wrong with this crap. i cant get my pcs to communicate, what things need to be exact so they could reconize each other.

i am kinda confused on this one , yesterday i was at my local Klipsch Dealer and checking out the RF-3 II, the sound is just amazing. These suckers kick ***. i was Planing on gettting the RF-3 II along with the Ksw 12 subwoofer, the one thing is they had the RF-3II hooked up with a Ksw 15 sub, He turned on the system and played the dvd Gone in 60 Seconds, the sound of the bass was awesome, just to know what would you guys recommend, the Ksw 12 or 15 for the RF-3 II? anthor thing i am gonna buy the Denon 2802 reciever, will this reciever output enough power for the Ksw 15 sub? They had a Intergra THX Amp, i dont plan to get something thatr big.

i have been wanting to purchase the Rf-3's my self, the reciever i was recommended was the Denon 2802, DD, DTS, Prologic II and much more, its 90 watts x 6 channels, i think this reciever should do, you can find it as low as 499 on yahoo shopping. all you gotta do it look

what is the best amp? i heard McIntosh is damn good. those amps are freakin heavy, connect those to some B&w speakers and have great sound. klipschorns also kick *** with this amp. cant wait to hear how the Rf-f sound. congras theears

well the room is 15x15 my bedroom and for speaker money i spend around 1500 with sub.

well i bet you have heard this many times and i am gonna say it again, I have made my final choice to which reciever i want to buy. The Denon AVR 2802. I would like to know which Klipsch speakers go good with this reciever. The only thing that is holding me back is the cash, but i dont care i will some how convice my dad to buy them for me, i plan to use this for my home theater set up and computer set up, i would like to know what kind of surrounds and fronts this reicever would go with. so if any of you guys could help i would really thank you a million

well oorgins i have been looking at the Denon avr-2802 for some while now. Looks like it has alot of good features and on what i hear Denon is top dawg. my dad has a 2 channal reciever and it kicks ***. I got a new Sony 27" vega tv that i just bought from my local audio & video store and planing on expanding my Home Theater. I also plan on using this reciever to play my mp3 off my computer, thats anthor thing will it work and decode the bitstream or whatever you call and play the mp3? will i get 4.1 sound or 2.1? i need some help on this kind of stuff. the reason i am asking is cuz the salesmen at the audio and video store told me that it would not work, i would need to buy a Harmon Kardon so it can work with mp3s. i told him it was bullsh!t but you never know thats why i am asking, he said it would need some PCM crap. well if it works with the Denon well then its all good. i have the GTXP sound card so it would easily hook up. the speakers i plan on using are the ssi surround and the sci center, sbb main bookself and the ksw10 sub, maybey the ksw12, tell me on what all of you guys think and correct me if am wrong or need better or lower speakers or what i just want somthing good. iam only 18 and work at wendys so i dont earn that much cash but i am saving up for my reciever but stil tell me on what you guys think. thanks

well i am kinda new at this and it may seem kinda lame to ask questions like these and all, but i went to the yamaha website and found me these new external soundboards. oh what the website explains and says about their cavit systems. i was wondering if these cavit systems were worth the money and any good, would they sound nice with the promedias 5.1? i am new to this so i dont know. thanks

damn i am so pissed off, i am confused on what kind of dvd drive to buy for my new pc that i am making. i am looking towards a 16x and what brand and for how much, if any of you guys can help i would really aperciate it. i went to best buy today and the morons dont know crap about the stuff the have. Its so stupid to have employes working there and not knowing what they have or are doing. They couldn't even tell me anything about the Dvd-roms they had, they are so stupid

i am new as you are, i am dont know which soundcard to get for my 5.1 promedias, i cant wait to get them, i had wanted to to get the Hurcules gtxp but i hear the SB live is just as good as the Hurcules, which one is better? i want the best one for the buck.
