  1. Hey thanks for the input guys. I thought $200 was just a bit low but, you never know I might get lucky. I'll check Parts-Express and see if I have luck their. The reason I am pushing so hard to get the LFM-2 is space constraints. It just fits perfectly where I need it.
  2. If $200 is too low of an asking price for a subwoofer, let me know and let me know what I should save up for instead. Keep in mind I'm young and on a budget but, would love to have some more low-end in my room.
  3. Alright so I still have some tax return money burning a hole in my pocket and I am trying to acquire a powered subwoofer. At this point I will consider any decent subwoofer under $200. I really like Outlaw Audio subs(based on their reviews) and yes they do exceed my asking price but, the LFM-2 isn't that far off.. I will also consider HSU or anything in comparison. Though the LFM-2 is really what I would like to have. http://www.outlawaudio.com/products/lfm2.html JC
  4. Seems like I am already being steered away from this sale. So, it sounds like you guys are in the right and I should just pass on this one.
  5. Well considering what it's worth new, it sounds like a good investment. If in fact it is broken, what would your guess be as to the culprit and cost to fix it?
  6. Tax return money is burning a hole in my pocket. 95% of the reason I am adding to my setup.
  7. Check my, Is it worth the MONEY? thread and you will see where I am headed next.
  8. I have another question. Say I buy this, would you guys here on the forum help me get it working again?
  9. Your tellin me! It works though and since I'm still living with the folks I can't complain too much. LOL
  10. Ya I can mount them on the side or on the back wall. Side mounting is preferred and I think I have a pretty good spot for them. My room is 10x12x8 and I sit fairly close to the back wall but, the S1's can still be mounted in the ideal position.
  11. Oh okay. I was thinking you had them on the side up against the back wall. How do they sound on the back wall?
  12. I found a Synergy Sub-12 on ebay(http://cgi.ebay.com/AS-IS-Klipsch-Synergy-Sub-12-650Watt-12-Subwoofer_W0QQitemZ260395497829QQcmdZViewItemQQptZSpeakers_Subwoofers?hash=item260395497829&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1205%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318%7C301%3A1%7C293%3A1%7C294%3A50) As-is. I know all the fine print and buyer beware but, my question is for the BIN price $119.95 is it worth buying even if the only thing wrong with it is the fuse/and or amplifier itself? Any responses would be greatly appreciated. JC
  13. Okay so after reading a countless amount of old post's today on the debate of WDST or bookshelf speakers for surrounds I decided to go with a pair of S1's. According to everyone here on the forums that was the right way to go. So, I put up a Bid on Ebay and got pair of S1's for under $100 bucks. Pretty good deal I think. Oh and Tommyboy I do really appreciate your help in trying to find a pair of Cherry B2's. Though according to some of your older posts you prefer the S1's over the B2's so, I think I made a good decision.
  14. I haven't given up my search for a pair of Cherry B2's just yet but, it's starting to look nearly impossible. I am going to post a WTB in the Garage section and see if I get more hits there.
  15. I think that's where I'm headed next. Unless someone here on the forum's has a pair they want to sell?
  16. Same here man. I think it's really cool guys at our age are so involved with Klipsch and HomeTheater.[H]
  17. The link keeps sending me to Vann's website and they seem to no longer stock them. I haven't given up yet so, the hunt continues.
  18. Wow, you found that fast. Thanks for the link I will definitely check it out. I took your advice on getting rid of the Polk's so, if I can get them it would be an awesome match to my front Cherry F2's.
  19. Wow! Dude that was awesome I totally just read that.Very cool.[H]
  20. Ya that's right I'm back at it again. I'm on the hunt for more cherry Klipsch! The reason behind this is because I just sold my Polk audio rear speakers on craigslist so, the money from that sale is going toward my new surrounds. Now with out getting into the whole discussion of WDST or direct radiating(since it really doesn't matter for me). Is it possible to find Klipsch Synergy B2's in cherry? If not I still want B2's for surrounds. I'll try to find and add a photo.
  21. First off, Welcome to the forums! I won't comment to much on a subwoofer I do not own but, I can provide a link to a website that sells port tubes in many length's. Hope this helps. http://www.parts-express.com/wizards/searchResults.cfm?FTR=&search_type=main&WebPage_ID=3&searchFilter=Port+Tube JC
  22. Ya Ya Ya, I hear ya, I hear ya. J/K []
  23. HOLY crap that's a good deal. I will definitely keep my eyes open then. No not at the moment. Budget and room size don't really allow for one right now. Yes I most certainly will be. I've been told in the audio world that patience can be a virtue. I will stick to it.
  24. Yeah you might be right on the upgraditis bug everyone around seems to have.I will take any help or advice you've got on upgrades though. As for the Polk's they were given to me by a neighbor for helping him move. And as for not having a BD player, the Xbox 360(in my opinion) does a great job of up-converting.
  25. I'm still upset with you for getting Trey's cherry F2's instead of me! J/K man... System's lookin good! Ha HA! Thanks man, and thanks for giving me the dibs on them. This is my first true Klipsch set-up and since I believe I got the right speakers the first time I won't want to upgrade anytime soon.
