  1. That is the Outlaw Audio LFM-2. Quite the sub for only 8". Discontinued now, sadly. Now that I'm a bit older (25) I have even MORE respect for what I bought at 18 and have managed to maintain thus far. I agree with you though, Bust your A** and you can get what you really want and it's worth it.
  2. Well that's good to hear. It was a pleasure meeting him oh-so-many years ago and doing business as well. I told him that these speakers will be VERY well taken care of and that's been true so far. Hard to believe it's been 6 years since I picked these up and completed my HT. I was only 18 when I joined here. Very humbling to look back at my experience
  3. Indeed they did! Klipsch marketed them as an overseas item and that made them VERY desirable to me and pretty much anyone else in the US haha. The serial numbers on my front speakers end in numbers 1 and 2 Very cool IMO. Not too many of these stateside.
  4. Just a little update to my HT here. I haven't signed into this site in quite sometime so, I'm happy to say that I'm back and I've added an Xbox 1 and a PS3 to my Cherry finished Syngery F2 5.1 setup. All these years later it all still looks and sounds AMAZING. Is Trey Cannon still around? His old speakers (my Cherry F2 fronts) are still in GREAT shape. I love my Klipsch speakers. Enjoy
  5. Hey everyone! t's been a LONG time since I've posted here but, just wanted to chime in and say that after all these years I am still happily enjoying my Klipsch speakers and haven't felt the need to change a thing. Here is my setup. (1 of 5 pics )
  6. Thank you so much for all your support here on the forums. You will be missed.
  7. You know I've been reading all these posts of yours and the only conclusion I can come to is a question. That is...WHAT ARE YOU TRYING TO ACCOMPLISH HERE?
  8. Just screwing around. Not the best shot but, I thought it looked kinda cool.
  9. Thanks for the compliments guys. I'm quite happy with them as surrounds.
  10. Alright well here they are. I am going to say without a doubt in my my that theses are substantially better than the S1's as surround speakers. They have a larger sound field and reveal alot more detail in the surround channels. Sonically, they are a near perfect match to the F2's(6.5 IMG woofer,1" Aluminum dome tweeter) making them one of the best upgrades to my system. I'm much happier now with my sound and I feel comfortable enough saying I have a complete 5.1 cherry synergy set-up.
  11. Ah man...you're killin me you know that. LOL
  12. Ya not really the best shots but, you can see that they are indeed cherry B3's and that they are in great condition. I'll take more photos when they get here.
  13. What! ONE PIC! Come on now that's just not cool.We must see more.....[]
  14. Thanks guys! I'll post more pics when they actually get here. Maybe even a few with them stacked on top of my F2's.[]
  15. Well I made the purchase for some Cherry B3's on e-bay today (Thanks a MILLION wuzzzer). I am going to try and attach some of the sellers photos to show them off. They look like someone chopped off the top of my Cherry F2's LOL. http://img188.imageshack.us/img188/2567/dsc03157g.jpg http://img40.imageshack.us/img40/4594/dsc03161a.jpg http://img443.imageshack.us/img443/1871/dsc03162.jpg http://img15.imageshack.us/img15/9947/dsc03165s.jpg
  16. Okay guys here is the verdict on the fan issue. I ended up going with this fan from RadioShack. http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2211703&tab=summary some more detailed specs Features Cool all of the components in your computer! High air flow, low noise Sleeve bearing for quiet performance Connects directly to your power supply Fan Dimension 120 x 120 x 25 mm Fan Speed 2000 RPM Bearing Type Sleeve Noise Level 21 dBA Max. Air Flow 78 CFM Max. Air Pressure 2.97 mm H2O Power Connector Molex 4-pin Started Voltage 6V 7V Max Rated Current 0.38A Power Input 4.56W MTBF 30000 Hours Weight 156 g With the fan only being $10 and fitting my needs quite nicely and I already had DC converter laying around (Cell phone charger). I feel a little less worried about my receiver overheating. It is noticeably cooler to the touch and I'm sure it's running better with less heat strain. I mounted it on the back right side of the receiver with case screws, just above the large internal heat sinks. I appreciate everyones help and suggestions with this so, any other questions just ask. Thanks guys!
  17. Okay sorry to get back to you guys somewhat late but, here is my experience with it on top of the entertainment center. It did run a bit cooler partly due to the fact that the ceiling fan is moving more air around it. The fact that it was noticeably cooler out in the open, would leave me to believe that it will be fine in the entertainment center but, with help from a fan. I REALLY like the look of the whole kit and having it mounted directly on top of the receiver. I wasn't looking to spend more than $20 though.
  18. Okay, ya I totally overlooked that. That is just a bit too loud for my tastes so, thanks for pointing that out. When I get time this afternoon I'll try it on top of my entertainment center and see if anything changes.
  19. Alright, sounds good then. I'll get back to you guys when I get a fan. Thanks for the help so far.
