  1. Ok, The other day I had a chance to thoroughly test the Klipsch G17 and my First impressions Yes it sounds very Crisp, Warm and Clear but...But...Though the BASS is good in itself...For me the Kind of Music that I mostly listen to Techno/Club/Electronica the BASS was still something I would have desired for more...My understanding for the reason is the G17 only packs in a woofer and not a Sub-Woofer. On the other hand a Airplay Speaker like the Zeppelin Air has a Sub-Woofer of 50 Watts RMS and that is a lot of power for a Sub-Woofer to have in a Speakers such compact and Portable. I liked the Klipsch G17 speakers for its look...It is a extremely good looking speakers must congratulate Klipsch Guys on this. It looks stunnig and it feels great to handle it. But...But if it had a little more Power in the BASS a Sub-Woofer instead of jsut a woofer !! Hey Alex are you guys working on any Successor model of the Klipsch G17, I mean if you guys are, and if it is due for launch in the next 2 months or so I can still wait. I am not in a Hurry !
  2. Gosh ! Finally somebody replied on this thread [] I was thinking such a vibrant Klipsch Forum and how is my post going un noticed. Anyways Alex, before you put the link I have already gone through this review about the G-17 on Engadget and yes I have read the review on quite a few Tech Sites. I was hoping a end user feedback review on this. Generally reviews from profesiional Tech sites, magazines tend to be biased if they have been having a association with the product company for long. Again I may be wrong. Ok so I do imagine that Klipsch G17 may have a powerful Bass because I personally also have high regard for the quality Klipsch produces. Have been long fan of the Klipsch Promedia GMX-2.1 (If I remember the model number correctly) Man !! That was one heck of a fantastic speakers, have never..ever...ever..come across anything as fantastic as that ! That was out of the world ! So listening to those speakers Klipsch made me look at them with extreme, extreme high regard. But Like I said I may use the G-17 speakers to watch mioves (even if they are not meant to be) But as you are saying from your own experience of watching a couple of movies, the experience is not bad either right ? (I hope I can take your word for that, [] keeping in mind you are a Klipsch Employee [] So watching movies should not be a problem right on the Klipsch G17 speakers ? Cheers ! Augustya !
  3. Hey Guys, So I am planning to buy a Airplay Speaker and I am confused. Between the Klipsch G17 and Bower&Wilkins Zeppelin Air, Which one has a more powerful, tight and a punchy BASS. I do listen to a lot of Techno, House kinda music so having a very very powerful Bass is top in my criteria. I am not an Audiophile but I do like my sound to be perfect, Bass being tight and punchy, clear vocals and guitars. I am not gonna use this speakers just for Music I am looking at this speakers for their overall performance which means I may even watch movies in this speakers, so I would want the dialogues, background music in movies to very crisp and clear. So keeping all this in mind between the Bower&Wilkins Zeppelin Air V/S Klipsch G17 which one I should go for. How do you guys think a movie would sound in the Klipsch G17 ? Are the dialogues clear and does it give equally pleasant 2.1 -Kind of Listening Experience while watching a Movie ? Thanks Augustya !
  4. I was wondering if there is like a complete in-ear headphone in the Klipsch Family which is like a complete in-ear headphone meaning, Gives a Virtual 5.1 surround sound so is very useful while watching on your mobile device and at the same time has good Bass if you are in a mood to groove to. Club music :-) does S4 meet these requirements?

  6. Looks like you have a X10 aswell, between the X10 and S4 which one do you from your personal use and experience you feel the music is more perfect ? Say for e.g Club Music, Dance Music, Vocals ?
  7. So there is nothing called as only S4 ? It is S4i and S4a.
  8. And what if I wanna have headphone which is compatible with both. I believe there is something called as the only S4 ones...What see those ones ?
  9. Infact I was thinking about the S4, is there a difference between the S4 and S4a ? is S4 and S4a compatible and can be used with both iPhone and Android ? Out of the two I would prefer something which has the same sound quality and on top of that can be used on both the devices iPhone and Android !
  10. Hi Guys, I am looking out for good in-Earphones to be used along with my three devices which I primarily use as my music device which is my iPhone, My Android Phone Samsung Galaxy S2 and my Sony MP3 player. So I am looking out for earphones which is compatible and can be used across any gadget, any device. The features and requirements that I am looking out for are it should have exceptional sound quality, complete Noise-Cancellation, Very Powerful Bass (Should feel the Punch in the Bass, Since I am in to electronica music and listen a lot to Techno & Trance Music) and Good High's and Lows, clear sound of Vocals and Percussion. Which after using it should give me a feeling, WOW ! what a sound experience !! Any Suggestions from the Klipsch range of in-Ear phones And Yes My Budget is below $100 [] Thanks in Advance !
  11. Hi, I have a question regarding the ProMedia GMX D-5.1 Speaker System. I know these speakers are no longer manufactured by Klipsch but I have just found one on of the shopping websites and I am planning to buy it. Before I do that I had couple of questions First of all I am from India and in India the normal Electric Voltage supply is 240 volts unlike the U.S.A where it is 120 Volts so will be able to use this here in India if not directly how can I use it. Will I have to use any Electric converter or an Adapter for that. Please tell me about this. Second is I want to connect it to my Laptop and have a surround sound. I know Laptops. My laptop does not have an onboard 5.1 sound card so how can I have a surround sound on my Laptop If I want to use these speakers. If I connect an External 5.1 Sound card will it then be able to give me a 5.1 surround sound. Please Advice. Thanks.
  12. Hi Everyone, I am loking out for some Good Speakers to connect to my Laptop. Ideally I am looking out for a 5.1 Speaker System, What I am looking out for, to do with these speakers is basically when I am watching a Movie like a Good Action, Thriller Movie I should get a good surround sound, just like a Home Theatre, Also I am in to listening a lot of Club, Trance Music so the speaker system that I would like to have has to have Good BASS. I was wondering if there's anything in Klipsch that I need to check out. Can you guys suggest me a speaker system in Klipsch which would give me a good surround sound (Home Theatre) like experience plus it would also make me feel as If I were in a Disco Club when I am listening to Club Music on it. How is the Klipsch promedia 5.1 for this purpose. Will it fulfill the expectations that I have mentioned above. Cheers !
