  1. Where would one get that tv?? [8-|]
  2. From everything I've read the JL Audio subs are very nice. I haven't personally heard them, but they get rave reviews in the magazines.
  3. Thanks for the info guys! I really like the way they sound as they set right now. Looks like I won't be changing a thing!
  4. I think they sound very good toed in. I guess I'm just curious what others are doing with their Forte's. I also have mine out from the wall about 2 ft., which seemed to make them sound better too. Thanks for your response!
  5. I was recently in the same boat as you looking for a new reciever. I went with the Pioneer VSX1018AH-k. It sounds very good with my Klipsch speakers. I hear things I never heard before on cd's that I'm very familiar with. Also, from my research, it doesn't have a lot of the problems that some of the other receivers have. I picked mine up for $413 shipped from Pioneer. Good luck with whatever you choose! [Y]
  6. How do you guys have your speakers positioned? Currently I have mine toed in a liitle, but I have heard that they shouldn't be toed in. I was just wanting to see how other owners have theirs set up. Thanks in advance!!
  7. Cool!! Enjoy your new purchase!! [Y]
  8. I don't think that the KLF would fit where I need it to go anyway. I think it would be too tall. Thanks for the info!! Maybe once I get a new stand I'll be able to get one of these or an Academy. But as it stands now, I'm very happy with the sound. (I really do want a new center though) [] Thanks again!!
  9. I would love to have that, but what are you going to use for your rear speaker. I have a couple of KG1.2's in the oiled walnut finish that you could use. I'm using both of them as my center channel right now. They are in excellent shape!! If you get the KLF-C7 maybe we could trade. I have no problem driving to Danville. []
  10. Thank you guys so much for all of your help!! I really appreciate it! The 805 is the avr I keep coming back to. Maybe I'll just get one and try it out. I really love this forum and Klipsch, so you'll be seeing at lot more of me on here!!! lol I am going to go with the Emotiva pre/pro at tax time, but for now I think the 805 will do just fine! Thanks again everyone!
  11. No, I didn't get it. With the holidays and my girlfriends birthday all falling in Dec. it didn't leave me enough to get it. I'll have one in the next few weeks though! [] How would the Onkyo 805 do as a pre amp? Is the video section of those better than the HK? All I really need is pass through on the video. The PS3 converts all of my dvd's and games. The cable box is set to output to the proper resolution as well. I don't need the AVR to do anything to the video signal.
  12. Go for it!!! I've read nothing but good things about Emotiva, and the price is very nice!
  13. I'm using this on my gear http://www.tripplite.com/en/products/model.cfm?txtModelID=3500 . I've been very pleased with it thus far.
  14. What do you guys think of the Harmon Kardon AVR-354? I was thinking of picking one up and using it until the Emotiva gear is available. I may even use the 354 as a pre amp with the 5 channel Emotiva amp until the new processor is released. What you think? Should I just wait, or will this set up sound good?
  15. Thanks for the advice guys!! I think I'll wait and get the Emotiva set up. If any of you guys are ever in Roanoke look me up!!
  16. I'm using KG 1.2's for surrounds and they do a great job! The work very well with my Forte II mains.
  17. Thanks!! I'm gonna bid on that one!!
  18. I've been looking for an Academy, but have had no luck yet. I'm leaning towards the Onkyo 805, since it can be had for around $500. I may just up my budget and go seperates.......I just can't decide!! lol
  19. I using Forte II's for my mains and KG 1.2's for the center and surrounds. What would be a good reciever that would sound the best with these speakers. Currently I'm using my old Kenwood VR-309 that I've had for 10 years now. I want something that will decode the latest BD sound formats. I'm going to spend up to $2000 on it. Sound quality is the top priority. Thanks in advance for your help!!
