  1. I am looking for the top 3 subs to consider to match with my Belles for HT use? Any recommendations?
  2. Yes, it appears that there is no sound coming from one of the tweeters. The speaker sounds good but there is defintely no sound coming from the tweeter.
  3. Does the AB3 xover for Belles provide tweeter protection? If so, if the tweeter stop functioning, how do you re-enable the tweeter? Is there a fuse that need to be replaced??
  4. I need to have a pair of Belles delivered from Austin Texas to Atlanta GA ASAP. If you traveling from Texas to or near Georgia and would like to make some extra cash, please email send or send me a PM.
  5. Is there a detail thread on how to change Belles Grill Coverings? I want to change the all of the Belle grill covering to a different color. Any all help will be greatly appreciated
  6. Hello Klipshfan, I am very interested in your single Belle. Please send me pics and lets work a deal. I sent you a PM with my phone number and personal email address to send the pictures to. If we can work out a deal I can pick these up this weekend. Thank you.
  7. Can someone tell me the difference between the Hersey I and II? Do they sound the same? Is there a difference in the sonic features in perfromance? How can you tell if a Hersey speaker is a I or II model?
  8. She is indeed a fine beauty. Is this the Beyounce of Klipsch speaker. She looks brand new. Great job man on getting this pair of Belles.
  9. Yeah, that's what my wife is always telling me. [] Thanks William for the information. That is what I was thinking, but I needed a second opinion. Thanks again, you confirmed it for me. The original wires stays.
  10. Does anyone know if it sonically beneficial to replace all of the original internal cross-over wiring that connects all drivers, horns and woofers with the type of standard monster cable that comes with the Khorns? My Khorns I purchase over 20 years ago cross-over network wiring harness is all monster cable throughout the speaker, so I am wondering if it is really worth doing the same monster cable wiring to the Belles that I just purchase. I am new to the Belles and the wiring just seem wimpy compared to the huge monster cables that are on my Khorns. Has anyone upgraded the Belles internal original cables to monster or just bigger cables and notice an improve performance that is worth the added effort or cost? All experience technical input is welcomed.
  11. Hi William, This is really very helpful information. Thank you very much for your input.
  12. Thanks for all your input, you guys are awesome. My other question is concerning the same make and models of Klipsch speakers. (Horns,Belles,Lascalas). In the older models (1970's and below) is the mid and bass section as pronouced and power as the newer models (1990+) with the original cross-overs and drivers in the speaker? The reason I am asking these questions, I have owned a pair of Khorns for over 20 years now that I bought in the 80's with all original equipment. The more I play them the better they sound and can compete with any speaker in any price range on the market today. My concern is that I am in the market to purchase a pair of Belles or La Scalas to add to my current system and want to make sure that the quality of the sound is on the same standards that was built into my Khorns. I prefer the stronger pronounce bass and mid section sound that was built into the year and model that I am currently using. I don't know if the older models (1970's) were built to produce the same type of sound as the newer models. So I don't want to buy the first pair of Belles or La Scalas that I see and be disappointed with the sound. However, at this point, you almost have to buy what ever you can find when you see them available regardless of the age of the speaker.
  13. Does any know if there is big difference in sound quality of the newer Klipsch say 1990 + ( Horns/Belles/LaScala) vs the same model made in the 1970's. The selling price seem to be about the same regardless of date made. So my question is, in order to achieve a higher quality or better sound by up to date Klipsch standards, do the 1970 models need an electronic upgrade (cross-overs,caps, etc) to compare with the models that were made from 1990 to date? All experience input in welcomed. Thanks..
