  1. Hello, I am contemplating on changing a klf 20 into a center channel speaker to go with a set of klf 20 mains. Is there any chance anyone could send me pictures of your modded klf center? Also, since the klf 20 is three way, how would I arrange the woofers and horns? I'd like to make a new baffle as well and lay the klf 20 as my center. any help would be great.

  3. Need some input here, I have a set of KLF 20's and a RC 64 Center channel. For the side surrounds I'll be using RS 62's and RS 52's for the rear surrounds. I'd like a matching front stage. Should I buy a klf C7 to match my klf 20's or get rid of my klf 20's and buy a set of RF 83's to match the RC 64 center channel and RS surrounds? I can get a good deal on a set of pristine RF 83's. Is the RF83, RC64 combo better than the KLF 20 KLF C7 combo? I'll be using a RW 12d subwoofer and a denon 3805 AVR. Let me know your opinion
  4. thanks for all the replys, I ended up using the rs 62 for side surrounds and rs 52 for rear surrounds.
  5. Hey guys, I hope that I can get someone's opinion on a dilemma I am facing. I am in the process of setting up 7.1 with my denon avr 3805. I will be using klf 20's for my mains, rc 64 center, and rs 62 for side rears. I have a set of RS-52's and a set of kg 2.5's. I'm trying to figure out which speakers would be best for my rear surrounds. I'm leaning towards using the RS-52's for rear surrounds.....I'm just not sure if rear surrounds should be a front firing speaker like my KG 2.5 or if it is better to have a triangle speaker like the RS 52 for rear surrounds. Any input would be greatly appreciated... Thanks
  6. Hey, If you have a black klf c7 in great condition I would trade for sure. let me know...... I'm in Canada just outside of Toronto. dunno where you are or how we would do the trade but I'm open for suggestions.
  7. YAY!!! I just pulled the trigger and won the auction on ebay for the medium oak Klf C7!!! Only problem is that the rest of my speakers are black satin.... oh well, at least the medium oak finish matches my av cabinet/credenza that the speaker will sit on anyway. thanks for all the replies
  8. HAHA....."depth and feeling in the rear" anyone else find this funny?
  9. Thanks for the reply, I was actually thinking of getting a KV-4 because I was having a hard time finding a KLF C7. So, in your opinion, the C7 sounded better with your KLF 30's? Thanks
  10. Hey guys, CHeck my sig for my current setup. I always feel like my center is so quiet compared to my mains. I seem to always have to turn up the volume to hear dialogue but then turn down the volume during explosive scenes etc because my house shakes and the misses gets pissed off. So, right now I'm using a KG 2.5 as my center and KLF 20's for my mains. I'm having a hard time finding a KLF C7 to match my mains. No one seems to want to ship the center to me.... I have a local klipsch dealer but they only carry the new products eg.. RC-64 or RC-62 Would the RC-64 or RC-62 work well with my current setup? I know it wouldn't be a perfect match but I'm guessing that either of the two would be much better than my KG 2.5... I'm leaning toward the RC-64, something about 4 drivers that gets me going. IS there anyone on this forum using KLF 10,20, or 30's with the RC-64 center? Any opinion would be greatly appreciated, whenever I ask the guys at my audio shop I just keep thinking they just want to push new product on me.... Thanks All
  11. I am in the process of relocating my home theatre setup to a different room. My original home theatre was 12 x 18 feet.... My new home theatre room is 24 x 14 feet.... I am wondering if adding another klipsch rw 12d will make a noticeable difference in the new room. Also, do I need any line drivers to up the voltage since I'm splitting my one sub out to two subs? Is anyone using 2 subwoofers on a denon 3805 amp? Thanks
  12. Hello everyone, I've been a klipsch fan for years and just recently joined the forum.... I have had my klipsch klf 20's in my home theatre for years, I love them and do not want to get rid of them.... However, I have always felt like my center channel (Klipsch KG 2.5) was not loud enough/balanced enough to match my klf 20 mains. So, I want a new center channel speaker to match my mains. I already posted in the garage looking for a KLF c7 to match my mains. I've received numerours replys to the thread. My question to you all is: Is there another center channel speaker from klipsch that will match my mains? I noticed the KV4 is very similar in design to the KLF C7, the wood used is a little different and the horn material is aluminum rather than polymer and the klf c7 also has polycarbon woofers where as the kv4 does not. Besides the cosmetic differences in the speakers, any idea if one will out perform the other in my application? Any help would be totally appreciated. My heart is telling me that the KLF C7 is the speaker I want, I just need knowledge before I make my decision, I don't plan on buying a new system for at least 5 years. thanks, demetrios
