  4. Hello, everyone I have not posted on here for a while. I am posting because Ii would like your help! I am participating in the annual St. Baldricks event to raise money for children with cancer. I also will be getting my head shave to support the kids. I am asking if any of you or any others you may know would help me to raise some money for this worthy event. Below is the link to my donation page. Thank you all in advance!! John http://www.stbaldricks.org/participants/mypage/530619/2012
  5. It really looked great out of the box but I have been tweeking it. i have compared these to lcd plasma and dlp. this LED blows them away with the rich color, deep blacks and white whites. as well as sharpness.
  6. My Sony Optic block went out so I just bought the new samsung 55" LED 7000. It looks great. its alittle smaller that my 60" Sony rear projection. But 60"+ lcd's are a little to pricey for me right now. Sorry I have not been on here to post in awhile it is very busy in the summer for me.
  7. Youthman, looks like a job well done!!!!!![Y]
  8. Thanks Professer Thump! A miter saw was used on the cuts. Fortunately I still am counting ten fingers as of this posting. But I have another mantle project for my fireplace that i want to redo so the crown molding all matches. I am also going to put some crown molding around one of my trayed ceilings in the foyer. All this is in the same area and will match and not look like an after thought. I will give you a finger count after that!! Keep your fingers crossed!!!! LOL
  9. Hey guys, I am using the screw that came with it to angle it down. The speaker is near the front edge of the shelf and I can take a side shot tonight and post it.
  10. I just threw the rc64 up there for the pictures. I will be running the wires throught the wall. I just have not gotten that far yet.
  11. I think it will be just below the vent. I may be trying to mount it up tonight.
  12. Yea, I also call it the "Beast" It only took us a few hours of actual build time. I think we may get around to mounting it to the wall this week if we can get our schedules together.
  13. one more picture before I mount it to the wall
  14. here is the finished product. after the stain and sealer was applied. The center only has 2 pieces of base stacked and 1 piece of 7" crown. The middle has 1 piece of base and 7" crown, the ends are only 7" crown. All the pieces are high end mill work that came from a mill in AZ. I had a friend pick it up for me.
  15. Thanks guys, I am glad you like it. I will be taking some better shots when I get it stained. Are you wondering what color stain? Or brand? The dimensions are 7ft long. The center is 13 inches high by 16 inches deep and 3 feet wide. The middle is 11 inches high by 13 inches deep and 1 foot wide . The end is 9 inches high by 10 inches deep and 1 foot wide.
  16. Here is the finished product before applying the finish.
