hey rol1... about the rescue thing... because it is am image wouldnt that save everything? like see i have nearly 4000 mp3s on my computer, adobe photoshop 6.0, Jasc paint shop 5, and Quark Xpress. if my computer was to blow up... for example... and i did the system restore and it read my cd, when i started it back up, i would not lose my music and programs cause they were imaged even though the hd was reformatted? that is waht norton utilities told me but i would have to have a zip drive. btw, i hate norton, it was the demise of my first PIII 500mhz, the 600mhz and my old 133mhz. all three went to pot after having this progam, you would think that i would elarn right! so back tot he imaging... that would back up all my music onto one cd even though it is 16 gigabytes? thanks i talked to a friend...well a kid at school who follows me around, his nickname is modem, he said to go with the P4 cause it was faster but the AMD was mroe reliable. what is your bet? i know yall have said compaq but i want to be able to expand and the compaq is a mini tower and the HP is a full tower. not like a server sized tower but you know what i mean. i do pay for all my stuff, my pro's, 21"monitor, computer, camera, clothes, and all of that stuff just so that you do not think i am a spoiled kid, i know some ppl like that. when i am getting ready for college i will proabaly build my own computer, it is going to be a lot cheaper right? how much do you save when you do taht kinda stuff? on a scale of 0-10, zero being a person who thinks taht a computer is teh same as a CPU and Bill Gates, where would i have to be to build a computer? i would say that i am at a 7, just below programming, i can do GWBASIC but who can't! i was listening to my mp3s and the hiss on my v2-400s was horrible, i moved the 14K equalizer thing to zero and poof, no hiss. this works only if your speaker is not the problem. it may be teh card i have cause all my music is like that, in all the programs. just removing the really highs fixes it and you do not really notice a difference. ------------------ -justin http://www.fortunecity.com/campus/berry/88/

I have new sony PCV-260DS computer with 800MHz PIII, 256mb SDRAM, and Sound Blaster Live Plus... i went to sony to get some tech support for a small problem and they ended up totallying the system, not email, no cd drives, i can not open images, it is whacked out! so since i wisely bought the 4 year warranty from circuit city i am getting a new computer... is this one good enough? or is the compaq one with less MHz but an AMD processor better? if you could chose between these two which one would you get? anyone know if circuit city will be getting a new line of computers anytime within the next month or sooner? here are the two systems, on compaq and the other HP. Well trust me Zero, i know how you feel.! but mine i think is even worse morally. I was diagnosed with epilepsy this summer (i am 16) and my doctor wanted me to take really good notes on my condition cuase i had been hospitalized from an over dose of valium... not my fault, my old doctors! i decided that a digital notbook thing would be the best thing cause i could email her updates and not worry aabout losing papers. i decided on the cybioko cause it was cheap, did the job, and would be inconspicuous to my peers. http://www.cybiko.com/ well i registered it got my email and started using it everyday. it really helped me out and i wanted to let everyone know. lucky me... sarcasm... that cybiko would have an essay contest on how you use your cybiko, the winner would get a new cybiko and an mp3 player...well, you would get enough cybucks for that. well i got grand prize very ahppy! a few days later i noticed taht they credit had not moved to my account, not any of it. i got 300 for buying one, 100 for registereing and 1500 for the contest. i called them and they quickly fixed that, come on, i was their poster child! well i ordered my new cybiko, neoprene carrying case, and mp3 player a few days later and waited teh 6 weeks to recieve it.... 2 months go by and still no cybiko. i start emailing them and asking where my cybiko is... then start calling... they said that my cybiko the cybiko that i registered and bought was not really mine, see this guy from montana named peter had it. see somehow this guy has gotton my serial number and stole my identity! i even proved that that cybiko was mine with my username password and even scanned the back of the cybiko with the serial number. they said that iw as sol and hung up, i called 5 more time and gave up. well that is what heppened to me... i pour out my health troubles to the ppl and they screw me! i know how yall feel -justin ------------------ -justin http://www.fortunecity.com/campus/berry/88/
