The odds are what, $50 for a reputable shop to repair? I already have a K28 in there to replace it.....Shipping it would not be fun. Any idea of good speaker shops in the chicago area that can do this? Thanks Tony

Hi thanks for the info, and the welcome...I am going to try and post a pic. I think it is more than a dust cap that is off....The cap is still firmly attached to something...... Tony

Hi I have a pair of Forte's and replaced one of the woofers with a K29 ( I believe). The K25K that I have here had the cone completely detached from the dust cap. Is this a woofer that I can repair or is it good for some sort of parts? I hate to just throw it away....Also should I seek out another K29 so I am running a pair or does it matter? Thanks JSG
