  1. I was wondering the same thing. I was looking on Ebay and it looks like the 2.5's look like they have holes in the corners for posts for the grills. The 2.2's just have the metal piece that fits in along the edges. Not an expert but an observation John
  2. I was wondering if anone has any suggestions for cleaning speaker screens. I have some KG2's and I have noticed the screens have some dust buildup. Can I just vacume them offf or can I wash them in water. I was wondering what other forum members do to clean the speaker screens?
  3. I know the audiophiles are going to hat this but I was wondering if anyone has tried one of those wireless rear speaker kits that allow you to use your own rear speakers. My family room is on a concrete slab. It has a vaulted ceiling that makes it very difficult to run speaker wire and in one direction a large fireplace and the other direction has 2 large doorways. Running speaker wires to rear speakers is seeming almost impossible. I was wondering if anyone had tried the wireless rear speaker kits. I was thinking about getting some KG 1.2's for rears and was wondering what everyone thinks of this plan.
  4. Thanks for the replies. I think I will try to get my hands on some 2.2's and a 2.2v
  5. I purchased these (oiled oak) new back in high school and have been in love with there sound ever since, they are still in perfect condition. I am about to make my first home theater purchase and could not think of not using these as part of a 5.1 surround sound system. Since I am spending all my money on a new LCD TV and Entertainment center the budget for the rest of the audio system is limited. I was thinking of trying to get a KG 2.2V for a center and was going to use my KG 2 as mains, but my wife would like the speakers to fit inside the entertainment center and the kg 2's miss by an inch. But I was wondering if I should get a pair of KG 2.2's and use my KG 2's as rears. I am also going to try to ebay a decent surround sound receiver. Again I would like to keep this under $500 total. I would love to hear some of your suggestions.
