  1. In the HT forum I asked about a good 3-channel amp for the reference series. If I don't go that route I'm looking at matching a NAD 208THX to my RF-3s and a 2400THX to the center, with a Pioneer Elite receiver taking care of the rest. Any opinions on NAD amps and the Reference series, or recommendations on other 2 or 3 channel amps. LittleSaint
  2. I'm looking for a good 3-channel amp to drive my RF-3s and RC-3. Receiver is Pioneer Elite 33TX. I'm considering a 2-channel just for the RF-3s (NAD 208THX) and a seperate amp for the center (NAD 2400THX), but I'd like all the front channels to match. LittleSaint
  3. Some receivers have a setting for the sub-out that allows the front speakers to be set to large AND send output below the crossover to the sub. My Pioneer allows this for the center channel as well. You'll have to adjust the placement of the sub to avoid phasing problems, but it definitely increases bass output, and helps with the directionality of bass signals from the left and right, and in my case center.
