  1. Hey guys, anyone have any experience using a KV4 between two Heresy 2's or Quartets up front? I might be able to pick one up for a good price and was wondering if it would mesh well. Thanks for the help..
  2. Nice looking trio! I've decided to keep my Forte's on the main floor for music listening, as I love them for that. I've been looking for a single black Heresy 2 to do a trio of Heresys for the front end of my theater set up. I haven't had any luck so far though. That set up must sound great, as I can vouch that Forte 2's will rock any house!
  3. Thanks for the input guys. Looks like I'll be picking up some KG 3's on Monday
  4. Hey guys. I've been playing with some ideas for a projection HT set up in my basement. I don't think I can bare to use my Forte 2's down there, as I would miss listening to them on the main floor (love them for music). So I was wondering how my Heresy 2's in the front, with KG 3's in the rear would sound. I have a KSW 12 sub, but still need to find a center that would mesh well. Leaning toward a third Heresy 2 at center. I ask because I might be able to pick up a pair of KG 3's on kijiji for $140. Good price? Let me know your thoughts. Thanks!
  5. Thanks for the input guys. I think that another pair of Heresy 2's would do well, but what do you think of the KLF C7 or Academy option? Does the C7 even mesh with heritage and extended heritage series? I've heard through discussions on the forums of a member who had tried both and was happy with either.
  6. Hey guys.. Iv'e got some set up questions for the experts. I have a feeling that I may be directed to the search function, but here goes anyway. I'll be finishing my basement this winter, with a large portion being devoted to a full on theatre set up with projector and screen (Yes, the wife approves. Can you believe it!) Anyway, I have a pair of oiled oak Forte II's that I absolutley love. These will be the front channels. 2 weeks ago, I stumbled upon a pair of Heresy II's in finished black complete with $150 stands on Kijiji for $240 (Talk about a deal! I basically paid $90 dollars for good condition, perfectly working H II's!). Now I want to use these as rears. My question is, what would be best to use as a center. My research has pointed toward Academy, KLFC7, and KV 3 or 4 as being compatible. Does anyone have any of these speakers for sale? Has anyone built a custom center with Klipsch original parts. Maybe a H II at center and the other at rear center for a 6.1 set up? How do you think the Forte II's sound with the H II's? I knowI have a lot of questions, but who better to ask?[] By the way, I'm currently using the H II's in my living room set up with a SC 1 at center, and this sounds... dare I say terrible. Hence the interest in the perfect match! Thanks for any help, Jay
  7. Yeah, every time I talk about my equipment she rolls her eyes and asks "Do we really need speakers in every room?" She doesn't understand...
  8. Thanks guys. I wasn't sure what kind of documents came with the set, as all of the newer Klipsch products I've purchased come with manuals about a few pages in length.
  9. Hey guys, I just picked up a set of Forte II's from BE36. I wasn't familiar with their sound before auditioning them at his place, and I am extremely happy with them. I was just wondering if they came with any literature when they were new from Hope. I called Klipsch and someone there told me that she wasn't sure if they did or not. Anyone know for sure? Thanks in advance!
