Congrats I just purchased my first mac gear a c33 and a mc2255 they are hooked up to my first pair of klipschorns.
Good place to be. I had no idea (well maybe a little bit of an idea). Heaven.

I have had mine now for 4 years and the new speaker fun hasn't worn off yet. In fact as I have tweaked the system to get the most out of them it just gets better and better. Enjoy!

You will have to share some of your tweakes with me. -
Was able to sample some more material today and as o.k. as my systems have been in the past there is just no comparison. It is not just listening to the music but discovering and experiencing it as it was meant to be with all of our senses.

I too have owned quite a few, with only one in mind, and "one day" finally is today.

Just set up my new K-Horns and McIntosh 2255 and C33. I was pretty impressed but I will be even
more impressed as soon as my wife gets home (with the fuses) since I
have been listening to them with only one speaker actually working fully
(blown fuse to the woofer) did not even know until I started messing
with the balance on the amp and had no sound coming from the bass
section of one of them. Wow if they sound that good with only one can't
wait to here them with both.

Im lost , I went to there website and added the same items you bought and the price was like 600 less why was yours so high ?
also if you didnt get the speakers yet refuse the shippment , you can call the shipping company and tell them dont bother .
the worst newaudio can do is get you for shipping big deal . And on top of it youll have no warranty . There is no way I would take those speakers .
Your also loosing a 5yr warranty . Call Mike and they ship out quick 2900 to your door with 5 yr warranty .
Definately listen to this advice!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Everyone says tubes with horns and I just was wondering about the sound characteristics from these two units with horns. The watt's was not a real issue for I would never turn it up to the point where damage to the speakers would be an issue.

Why and what have you had before to compare them too.

I am tired of being disapointed and as much as I like trying new things it gets a little pricey after a while.
So as many opinions as I can get the better.
I dont know if I have the perfect space for K-horns, I am not a big fan of the looks of La Scalas and I feel my Cornwalls come up a little short in the mids.
I am seriously leaning toward the Cornscalas so please keep me updated.

Which to buy and why.
Any and all thoughts welcome.

The owners manual has me a little nervous about the set up, level matching with your receiver (trim level, SAT trim differential, ect.).
I thought I could plug it in and it did the rest but it doesnt seem to be that way according to the manual.
The add says you wont even need to open the manual, and the product says make sure to read the manual completely first.
