  1. They're saying on the radio over the past few minutes that Peyton Manning had another neck surgery today.......... He's gonna be out for a number of games.......... Possibly out all season. what are they saying in Indy????

There was a radio station in Indy about a week ago that said quite possibly career ending which was a pretty big shock. This news seems pretty minor in comparison. With this being the first news to break since that report from the radio station last week they seem pretty credible. They obviously knew something.

If his career ends I'll cast my first vote to see him coach for Da Bears!

  2. The Jubilee have K-31-E

    The KLF have K-31-K

The original driver for the KLF 30's was the K the later models came with the E. (edit) Tom just said that.

So if these drivers are being sold for Jubilees why is Klipsch parts saying they are unavailable for KLF 30 users?

  3. Watched a few of his videos, he is good

Do tell where you found more vids from him.

Thats really cool Jeff. Best of luck to him.

The other videos were on that page with the first video, he was not playing on the video like the other, I think he was singing on one, I think mixing songs on another, a bunch of different stuff, one even had a bunch of models with power tools Stick out tongue, they get kind of crazy some of them. I just clicked on one of his vids and found more with his name on each page. Untill I got burned out, about 15 min.

I only see one vid with Benzo1hoe

  4. From speaking with Klipsch parts it appears that I bought the last two K-31-E woofers available.

This is not good news if true.

Has anyone else heard this? I thought the Jubilee used the same woofer? Are they not making that woofer available to KLF 30 customers anymore?

  5. Both my KLF 30's and Chorus II's put a big ole smile on my faceBig SmileYes

Anybody feel like I do about their speakers?

    Yes! drinkingcheers.gif

Not long after I bought my La Scalas, I cut the Satellite Cable and have never looked back!

So yeah Man, I love my Speakers too! rockout.gif

    Thats what I'm talkin about![Y]

  6. I run a K2 and love it. It's basically indestructable as you know. It is unbelievable with it's abililty to control a woofer and it has the same front end as the renowned Studio Reference 1 amplifier that still brings top dollar on the used market.

Now as far as biamping with the xti's I think many members here do that and just love those amps for that reason. Kind of a toss up as to which you need or want more.

Good Luck and welcome to the forum.

  7. It's a work in progress at the moment. I have a few parts of the puzzle to finish. I listened to 3 different pairs of KLF 30's and only liked the sound of the pair I bought so whatever that means.

Once I get them setup properly I'll give a complete run down of my thoughts.

It will definitely be tubes on top and ss on the bottom.

  8. Somethings not right. I think something either went wrong with the crossover mod or there is a part out of wack. Chorus II's image and quite well. They've been laying a pin point bead for me for over 21 years. Oh and as far as soundstage, with Floyd playing I've had them walk in one door, walk across the floor and right on out the other door. Pretty damn cool. As far as bass if they aren't hammering you with that kind of power I think there is something amiss there as well.

  9. I don't know if Charlie Sheen has Klipsch. But one thing is for certain, as of today, he no longer has his own sitcom and that 1.5 million dollar (per episode) salary.

Yeah but he is far from broke unless he gets any nuttier and just throws it all away.

I hear billionaire Mark Cuban wants to do a show with Sheen.

  10. I currently have my Forte IIs sitting about 12" from the rear wall and the right wall is a good 6 feet from the right speaker and the left wall is a good 10 feet from the left speaker. The speakers are aimed perfectly forward, not toed in at all. I previously had them toed in quite a bit, pointing directly at my main listening position. I read an article that was posted a while back from a guy who reviewed a pair of Fortes years ago and he found the best sound for his ears was to not toe the speakers in at all. I tried it and was very impressed. There was signifcantly more bass output, the center imaging was still superb and the sound stage was much, much broader than before.

I read that article years ago and tried it and just couldn't make it work.

As far as more bass output out in the room I will kindly have to disagree. Passive radiators get reinforcement off of the rear walls or corners. Out in the room always gave me more mids and less bass.
