  1. A pair of minty KLF-20 speakers. I do not want to ship these. Here is my ad. http://rochester.craigslist.org/ele/3838113367.html Thanks
  2. Hello all, I am really enjoying my KLF 20s and am looking for ways to upgrade them other than a crossover. While I was reading reviews on Audioreview.com I came accross this: "These are truly excellent speakers IF they are properly setup, which isn't the case in many homes : by properly setup, I mean : bi-cabled, spiked, and the outside of the horns must be damped with pounds of plastiline or some other heavy damping (very easy : unscrew the horns and damp them, with loads of plasticine, don't damp the cabinet ! only the outside of the horns)...." I searched this forum and didnt find anything on damping horns. Can anyone comment on this? I have thought about if the horn could be improved, they seem thin, but I am not an expert. Thanks
  3. They are black and in exelent condition. They are 100db. I feel that is was an ok deal but whatever im happy.
  4. Hello everybody, I bought a pair of klf-20s and love them. I am currently making them in solidworks, which is a cad program for a project. I would like to find drawings with dimensions, pictures of the the parts like dissasembled horns or woofers would be great too. I tried contacting Klipsch but they couldnt help me. Does the Klipsch community have anything that could help me? I searched around. Help is greatly appriciated!
  5. I bought the KLF-20's for a good price. They are AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!
  6. lThanks so much!! I listened to a bunch of speakers today. I listened to Klipsch, Polk, Focas, B&W, some others. I got to learn each brands characteristic. Klipsch is good, though my favorite are B&W and Klipsch's Paladium (more like B&W than a typical Klipsch). Also I was talking to salesmen at the store and they said the same thing, get old high end stuff than new cheap. Thats usually how I roll. I will look into the klf-20's, which are very close to me. Thanks for helping me with the price.
  7. Hello all, I am a college kid who wants a pair of speakers that 'does it all' for around $400. I have a room that is about 25' x 17' with a low ceiling. They will be used mostly for music. I listen to almost everything, classical, jazz, ambient, electronic, hip hop, metal, classic rock. I plan to use them at low volume and sometimes high volume, I want the fullest sound not the loudest. I would like some imput about the following pairs of speakers that I found for sale: 1) New with full warrenty - Klipsch F-1 ~$400 2) Used Klipsch SF-1 ~$200 3) Used Klipsch KLF-10 ~$400 I plan to head over to a stereo shop soon to see what they have as well. I did find KLF-20 but $700is too much I have an older higher end Onkyo stereo amp at the moment. Thanks
