  1. I've been using the medium sized tips since I've had the earphones and have only tried the small dual-flange tips but was unable to get a good seal. I'm going to try the larger dual-flange ones because I know just by looking at the small and large tips that they won't fit my ears. Does anyone have the comply tips? Are they good?
  2. I just got these earphones and Had a few questions. Will the overall sound quality improve after being burned in? Because while I am impressed with the sound quality, I'm not $350 impressed. The guys at Ultimate Electronics said they thought the Shure SE420's and the Beat Tours sounded better than these. I'm not sure if they're credible because of the fact they said the tours were better when they obviously aren't after I listened to both. Of it were up to you, would you return these for the SE420's? I'm strongly considering doing that right now. Thanks
  3. I have a XW-300d powered subwoofer, and whenever sounds like explosions in Saving Private Ryan are put out by the sub, the back of it rattles like there's something loose inside of it (it's extremely noticible). Does anyone know what the warranty is for this and if they'll fix it or replace it?
  4. Will there be new Image models as well?
  5. I'm getting the X10s pretty soon. Once I get them I'll let you know how they sound compared to my sound system that consists of: WF-34 tower speakers (x2) WB-14 surround speakers (x4) SC-24 center channel (x1) XW-300d powered subwoofer
  6. Maybe you could buy some of the Shure replacement eartips. Not sure if they are compatable with the S4s though
  7. Thanks for the info on them Also, I was wondering if it took you a while to get a good seal with them the first time you got them
  8. I called up my local Ultimate Electronics to see if they had the Image X10s in stock. Turns out they don't right now but I need a new set of headphones soon. (I found out Ultimate Electronics is a Klipsch authorized seller and I can buy a 2 year warranty after the Klipsch one is up with UE for just $25). My first question is: how long can you wear the Custom 3's before they start to feel uncomfortable? Also, since I am by no means an audiophile, do you think I could decifer a gigantic difference in sound between the Image X10s and the C3s? And my final question is: is it really hard getting a good seal with the C3s, because that's kind of detering me from getting them over the X10s. Right now I'm leaning towards the X10s but am strongly considering the C3s.
  9. The only thing I don't like about them is how big they are
  10. I was planning on going there Bought all of my home theater equipment there and live about 20 minutes from their headquarters
  11. We bought all of our home theater equipment and had it installed by Ultimate Electronics. I'm not sure what stores the reviews you read are from, but the store we got all of our stuff from had incredibly professional employees who knew their stuff. And the person who pre-wired/installed all of our home theater components has been installing home theaters and other electronics for 10 years.
  12. Nice review. If I usually listen to my computer and iPod without an amp, do you think I should get the S4, C3, or X10s?
  13. What is the cord of the Custom 3 made of?
  14. I have ruled out the X5's just because of how big they are. I now am trying to decide between the Custom 3s and Image X10s. A few things that are important to me: -Comfort - I'll be wearing them sometimes for hours at a time. -Durability - I'll be carrying my headphones in my pocket sometimes without them being in the carrying case and need headphones where the cable won't start to deteriorate after less than a year of use. Don't get me wrong - I will treat them with extreme care, I just want them to be able to withstand being without the carrying case when I carry them with me. -Sound quality is pretty important but honestly, I don't think I would be able to pick apart the sounds of the two headphones, considering my previous pairs of headphones have been $50 or less. Based on these 3 things, which would be the best for me?
  15. Hmm...this could deter me from buying the X10s next week... Does anyone know how the Custom-3s compare to the X10s in terms of durablility?
