just bought one of this model (Sub-10) from an exclusive distributor in germany (i live in italy) it was really a bargain because it cost half the listed price,but after one week of normal use it wont work anymore. luckily and with many, many patience and pleading to deal with, i had it replaced (the amplifier only, because freight cost more if i return the entire sub woofer). i just dont know what's the problem with the amp. it wont turn on again and no lights or sounds. when i opened the amplifier, there's are no sign or traces of fried or busted parts. Now back to your question if its really worth it? Yes it is because you wont expect the sound quality from this product in respect with its price bracket with other brands.

correction die hard follower of nothing.. i am not after with your composive and into your standard way of communications.. what harm i am doing to you if i post as my way of expressing my sentiments and disappointments? besides this not a grammar principled or categorized forum. it is called a forum with the sole intention to have an exchange of ideas and sentiment on a particular product. i guess it is better for you to go back to basics as what a fully educated individual should be. and please dont pretend you're having the best system in the world..you're just a plain consumer like i do. LOL! get a life idol! if i were you, better represent yourself as an editor or grammar consultant on this community.

the very most things that i should have done but never did is to heed over all the warnings and negative comments and reviews regarding this product (Sub 10 subwoofer) i just ignored the warranty issued because i had it checked by an unauthorized servicenter.what i just wanted to know and to asssume in my humble manner of ignorance is that the company (KLIPSCH) should have made action to recall the said defective cursed electronic device. they (KLIPSCH) instead of recalling or making address to have solutions with the perenial problem continue to sell and go on an discounted spree as far as europe just to dispose all their accumulated stocks or production output on this models or make. i am really dissappointed with this product, which is in contrast with all my appreciations to the other excellent KLIPSCH products- certainly, i would never recommend this sub or other KLIPSCH component added products to anybody!

klipsch sub 10 amplifier goes dead after a couple of days in use is not just a known issue but a perinial problem since this line initiated its production. unluckily, i am one of those thousands of casualties of this amplifier related problem on this unit. and its a big question why klipsch has'nt address to this particular issue on their product. since they obviously know this problem, they still selling and exporting this units as far as europe and asia instead of recalling all those production batch as what other companies usually do. klipsch maybe outstanding in making speaker system but they re not with such components electronic product.

this is not a solution or suggestion but an additional querry...likewise its what is also happening to my sub 10 which i purchased from germany two weeks ago (November 25,2009) it is in the two years warranty period but it cost me more sending it back to germany and back to me again (i live here in italy )i opened the amplifier but there are no burnt or suspecious parts in question. i just wonder why klipsch has'nt act and address to this particular problem with the fact that it exist even before the first manufacturing batch. now i really regreted buying this worst product on its category (with the fact that browsing in the web you'll find so many feedbacks and comments regarding this particular product) i should have bought B & W ASW 608. and i will never recommend this product to anybody.
