hey paragon, i have the original v.2-400 with the second preamp. k27-R: yeah, i think you are right in saying that the clearness makes the lack of midrange more apparent. cause i feel like somehow it sounds worse now, with the new wire. oh well

honestly not much of a difference. used radio shack 16-gauge wire and gold-plated mono plugs. i've just come to realize how bad horn speakers sound and how much of a lack of midrage promedias have. no wires will help. peace

can someone please verify what the correct polarity setup is for the promedias? i tried connecting them both ways, and can't tell the difference. don't want to damage the speakers. maybe someone from tech support could answer this? is the tip connected to the red cable on the promedia wires? thanks
