  1. Right now I have a set of KG 4.2 speakers, a pair of quintet surrounds and a KV-1 center channel. While movies are playing, it sounds okay, but I've never thought it sounded quite right. I ran the Avia Home Theater guide setup, and found that my KV-1 doesn't match my KG 4.2 speakers at all (they play some white noise, and the timbre is supposed to sound the same on the fronts and the center: mine sound completely different!) So I'm thinking of upgrading to a RC-3 (which is what the speaker chart recommends). So I was wondering: <br> * Had anybody else gone from a KV-1 to an RC-3? Did it make any difference? * Does anybody have any comments about the RC-3's? Thanks in advance!
  2. I've got a set of Klipsch 4.2 front speakers that I was hoping to bi-wire. The only problem is: it looks like they only have two connection ports (one red, one black). Would it work the same if I simply ran two wires, then jacked them both into the same speaker connection ports (so there'd be two wires going into the red port, and two into the black?)
  3. I'm a relative audiophile beginner who has recently upgraded my home theater setup. (I recently bought a Panasonic 34" HDTV, Sony STR-DA777ES Receiver, and Toshiba 6200 Progressive DVD Player.) I'm getting the receiver delivered this weekend, and am in the market for some good speaker cables. I've done enough research to know that you can pretty much spend as much as you want on cables: from $2 to $20,000. So I was just wondering if anyone had any good cable recommendations for, say, under $500. Thanks in advance!
