I think assembled, means made, be it with American "made" parts or not.
I'm not doubting your love for Japanese products. My original post was about McIntosh, and how shocked I was to learn that their car audio products are made in Japan. While their home audio is made in America.

I would be using it for both music and movies. I'm sure its a big improvement from my sub12.

Wow that's sad. The last sub I got last year was made in the USA. Maybe just the lower series is made in china, like Klipsch?

The subs that I have gotten over the years were all made in the USA. I didnt know they made subs in china? If I remember right their headquarters are here in fl.

First, I cant see paying that much money for a product that is produced over in japan. If it was made here in the USA, that would be different.
I promised myself to support our fellow american companies first, by buying everything I need made in the USA. I know for everything thats not possible.
There are a few car audio companies that are american built, like JL Audio, MTX, etc. I think JL makes one of the best car audio subs.

So I saw those cool blue meters on ebay, and was surprised to see the lil made in japan sticker! I thought mcintosh was this big made in america company? I guess outsourcing the car audio stuff is cheaper? Or maybe the Japanese know the way of the sword better then we do???
Anyways I wont be looking for mcintosh stuff for my car anymore, sad.

There is one close by for sale, looks good. Ive been wanting a 15 inch sub for a while. This seems like it might go well with my belles.

I always enjoy the cruise! This year the olds stayed home, so we camped out roadside under my friends huge 10 by 20 easy up car port! And having a rv helps too!

Ok, how about this analogy; which automobile would make the most profit, a Ford focus, or a Lincoln Navigator? Both are from the same manufacture, but I'm sure the sales person who sells the focus will not make as much of a commission as that of the sales person who just sold the navigator. Sure one could sell 10 focus's to 1 navigator, since one cost like $40,000 more.

BTW that was the last 2.1 they had, and it wasn't even in the computer as in stock! And the sales rep said there isn't anymore being ordered. Wow what happened?

I don't like amazon.com because, well I like to see and touch it before I buy it. So I support brick and mortar stores. That being said, I went ahead and got it from best buy. I want to try and support best buy keeping Klipsch there, since it looks like they are being slowly weeded out. Hell the magnolia part doesn't even carry the wf line, or the xd. Klipsch really needs to keep their equipment out in stores so people can see and hear them in person. You won't see me buying a new Klipsch model that II have neither seen or listened to in person! And if they are going to try and sell both their low end and upper end at a store, they need to EDUCATE the sales team on why a person should buy the $1,500 pair of Klipsch over the $500 pair! That alone is why best buy couldn't sell the WF line!
BTW, they sound pretty good. More boomier then I like, even with the sub at 1/4! And its made in China?! Wtf? I can't even brag about Klipsch being an all USA built anymore. Sigh ok enough of my rant, still love Klipsch!

I do see that its $5 cheaper on the klipsch site! I would only buy from klipsch or bestbuy.

I'm looking at replacing my computer speakers. I want to get the promedia 2.1 from Klipsch. Was going to buy from best buy, and get my points! But now here in central fl, they are not in stock anymore. So should I go ahead and order from bestbuy.com? Or from Klipsch.com? Both same price, both free shipping, but with best buy I get my reward points!
Any pro for buying right from Klipsch?

I'm sorry to hear of another loss of a good friend to someone.
A bond with a animal is sadly misunderstood and undervalued/dismissed by many, but that love is just as strong and in some cases stronger than two humans share.
My thoughts are with you.
So true dollar bill, why do people think that they are just animals? My god, our dogs LIVED with us! Where we went, they went! They were deff well traveled and taken care of dogs! I am at least glad that his sister, is safe and still with us.
Amy, there is few pics of rocky with some expressions! I love the one where he is kissing mom, and he's looking at me like, uh ohh busted! ha!

I'm so sorry to hear about your dog. I love the picture you posted of him - it reminded me of a dog I had when I was a kid.
I also love to edit photos, so I took the liberty with yours. I hope you don't mind. His expression is priceless. He was a beauty.

Amy, I could send you millions of pics with different expressions!. He was full of expressions! My girlfriend is deaf, and whenever we would talk, Rocky would watch me, then her, then me, then her! lol Whenever we talked to him, (signed actually) you could see what he was thinking just by the expressions on his face! He is and always will be my boy.

I dont know why I feel I must post this here, but I know my love for dogs is shared here.
Yesterday my dog Rocky was killed. He was chasing the neighbors dog and ran out into the street, and was hit. I got a call at 8am yesterday from a sheriff, who hit him. Luckly his sister, was not hurt. I think she was still at the house with the other dogs.
Me and my girlfriend got to see him one last time before we burried him. God this is so hard.
So if you have a loved dog, cat, or anyone, make sure you hold them closer today.
