pull it out ,  measure it , and take a resistance reading , post some pictures , 2 parts are crucial if you wanna rebuild a CF-3 woofer, the  klipsch VC / Spider  ,

I plan to tackle that tomorrow. Thank you.

if your cones are cracked you can repair them to good as new. I repaired cracked cones with loctite black max. Expensive but a truly superior adhesive.

Thanks, that is likely what I will do. Small crack in 1. It’s more of an aesthetic issue for me. Lol

I doubt it ,  the materials in the original cone were unique fitting  .

quick  question , is the  voice coil  in your CF-3 defective woofer in good shape

No problem with the voice coil.

the  CF-3  woofers were   exchanged under the warranty coverage ,  klipsch did not offer recone kits for the CF-3

Thanks, was wondering if any others kits can be substituted. May not be an answer anyone knows though unfortunately.

I missed out on them.  I emailed the guy and offered him $200 for 2.  He said no...

After seeing how quickly he sold the woofers, crossovers and horns I might be parting mine out.  I have 3 good woofers, and the horns and crossovers are fine.  Based on that guys prices, it will cover the $575 I paid for the speakers.  Even if I bring them back to life, I cant imagine listening to the CF-3 over my Cornwall II's.  Plus I am officially out of room.  Still trying to figure out if I can put both my 2 channel setups along with my surround sound set up in the same space.

If you decide to part them out please let me know. Thanks.
