  1. No shame in passing along a good deal.  Honestly the heresy i were too britht for me.  I hve a pair of

Rb-35 in the same listening position and am enjoying them more even though i know they are not as nice of a speaker.  Then again a $200 vs $550 speaker may be easing my mind too.

Ah, I live on Martha's Vineyard island off the coast of Massachusetts, as do the speakers. I was intending to list them in a local fb group, but surely open to anyone genuinely interested in them. Mainly looking to get the value and a reasonable asking price. If they are only in the $150.00-$200.00 range I may just gift them to my daughter and her boyfriend who have moved into a new home.

I really enjoy my 3.5s.  Maybe your daughter and bf will appreciate them

I would wait.  There should still be rf-7ii stock around when the iii come out.  anyone know msrp on the iii?

If that is truly the case on stated msrp, might as well just jump on the rf-7ii now

Looks like I waited too long.  That SC-75 on Eslay sold.  If anyone is looking to sell their SC-75, 77, or 97, I'm interested.

    Thanks.

Edit: Careful of the sc-5x and sc-6x models which have had higher failure rates.

Thanks for the price checks and cross referencing, guys.  Leaning towards purchasing......my Dad's words always echo at these times, "Think about it at least overnight before purchasing".

Tom Petty had it right, though!

Seems expensive to me.  I sold my sc-77 in mint condition with mic and remote locally for $350 locally.  Offered it for that price plus shipping on the forum here.  I found the on screen display and setup to be cumbersome.  Loved me my vsx-45tx back in the day.  I may be more skewed as i am more into stereo lately

How do they compare with the RF-7 II's?

It has been so long since i have had my RF-7ii that i can not do a comparison.  I enjoy a full range speaker without a subwoofer so i think i would like the bass of the Two 10" woofers better.  The only comparison i can make is with the RF-62ii and it is a very noticeable upgrade more in the high and midrange.  I still need to expirament more for the bass to cone out in my 63s.

Congrats on the cherry 63's and glad to hear you had a smooth transaction.

As you and many on the forum know, I have raved about the RF-63's since the day I bought mine almost exactly 9 years ago.  IMO, the 63's are pretty special that perform way above their price point.

They are ridiculously deep aren't they.

I have mine about 11 inches from the front wall and the bass response is pretty spot on.  Looks like yours are about 7 inches maybe?

    Bill

I have room to pull them out another 4". I will experiment.  I am running them on an emotiva A-300 and i think they would be happy with more power.  Just need to find a black pair for my upstairs now :D
