Hello everyone I'm new to the forum here but looking forward to reading and posting.
I'm wanting to upgrade my speakers that I'm using in my Home Theatre system. I am using the Onkyo txr705, PS3, and Dish HD dvr for the sources. My speakers are a thrown together mix from some old stereos and stuff from around the house. I recently purchased a Klipsch rc52 for the center channel and I'm loving it. All of this is in our master bedroom which is about 1000sq. ft. The main listening and viewing point is about 30 feet from the screen. We are projecting to one of the angled ceiling areas in the barn shaped room. The rc 52 is hanging about 8-9 ft from the floor and angled down a bit to the listening area. I'm thinking of either going with the rs42's or rs 52's for my side surround speakers (any ideas which would better suit the needs here?) Also I'm wondering about the left and right front speakers. I've been looking at the rf 52's, or rf 82's as tower speakers for the front. THe problem is going to be getting them the same distance apart from the center on the floor. Would I perhaps be better to look for a couple of speakers to hang on the wall at the same level as the center channel? We use this to mainly watch movies but we do listen to some music here as well.... any ideas, advice, opinions would be greatly appreciated.
