  1. A few years ago I saw a local Craigslist ad for a SME tonearm. I responded and went to pick it up. The seller was selling the table as is. Basically i was buying the arm and the table was a bonus. When i arrived to the sellers house he showed me that it in fact was somewhat working and a little bummed he didn't check it out and maybe get more money but he was cool and sold it for the agreed price. I didn't really pay attention because i was going to send the table to SOTA to get looked at anyways. I bought a shipping box and got put on a list from SOTA. I was supposed to send it in in last September but got covid pneumonia really really bad and missed my time slot and its been sitting ever since. The table spins and the pump works except the place on the box where you push and pull the fuse in and out is broke. To get it to work you have to hold the fuse in (please see the pictures). Id like to get $2000 for BOTH the arm, table, AND brand new factory shipping box that is around $150 from SOTA. Or id take $600 for the table Or $1600 for the arm If my prices are crazy please message me. I'm selling this and a few other items to buy some tube separates. I don't want to give them away but like everyone I'd like to get market value.
  2. I have decided to reluctantly part ways with my beautiful Sansui receiver. it's really really hard to sell this cause it's so hard to find stuff like this in the wild. I literally got this the same day as I picked up my Mac 2205 and 32v a few years back. Included is the original shipping box with Styrofoam packing plus it even has the plastic that surrounded it in the box. The owners manual and quick reference guide, speaker wire, fuses and rca connectors, and even the am/fm antenna with the cool Sansui logo on the white plastic piece. It's in excellent condition, I wouldn't call it mint but it sure is close. The left channel is very week. I tried a little deoxit with no luck. My plan was to send it away to get it freshened up and see if they could fix the weak channel but you all know how it goes. I wanted to keep this thing forever cause deep down inside I'm a Sansui fan-boy but I'm only selling cause I got bit by the tube bug! Im asking (was $1000) NOW $750 net to me. If you think I'm way out of line please let me know. Since I have the shipping box I'll ship it and double box it. Considering it has everything that originally came with it, I think that's pretty rare in itself.
  3. I bought this integrated amp last September as my very first tube amp. There is a ton of information and as many glowing reviews online. I have nothing to compare it too but all I can say it it made me rethink my entire setup and go ALL in on tubes. I just can't get enough of the tube sound! It can use KT88. EL34, or 6550 tubes and I chose the stock version KT88 that have around 50 hours on them. The only reason I'm selling is to the get enough money to buy tube separates. A rare opportunity presented itself and I need to take advantage of it. I have everything that came with the amp including the original packing so I will ship. Its in almost mint condition. I babbied it and took as many precautions as i could when using it I'd like to get 1000 net to me
  4. Just as the title states. I would prefer Walnut color but its not a deal breaker. I can pay with cash or have stuff to trade. I want to replace my Scansonic MK-5 which are fantastic little speakers but I'm thinking a bigger speaker will suit my needs better
  5. dam seeing my old speakers stings a little haha...I really miss them and should have listen to the forum members to keep them
  6. The record player is in good shape. I got the table from the original owner. It's cover has a crack but you cant feel it from under the lid. Also the back right foot has fallen off. I just sit the table on the foot and it works good. Included is a Shure m97xe that probably has less than 25 hours in it. If I look I think I still have the box and paperwork for the cart. I also have the original owners manual for the table. I will also include the Sonus Dimension 5 cart that I got with the table. I do not know how many hours are on the cart. I am asking $600 and I will not ship the table. I am 3.5 hours south if Chicago, 2.5 hours west of Indy and 2 hours east of St. Louis. I can help deliver within reason for the price of gas.
  7. Yes its still for sale, private message sent
  8. I emailed Shannon Parks and he said he used Cinemag 3440APC and Cinemag CM1254PC
  9. I found out they are 3440apc which I think is red - they might be from before Cinemag started distinguishing red v blue though
  10. looking into it now and i'll report back as soon as I get the information
  11. I've owned this SUT for a couple months. It was my first foray into the world of SUTs and I love it. I'm a bit reluctant to sell it because it sounds wonderful with my Dynavector 20x2l but I have a chance to upgrade for a what I am hoping for a better fit. I'd like $300 for it and I'll cover shipping.
  12. These are sold and they couldn't have went to a better owner.
  13. I'll take the jazz cd's...please mark them sold and pm on its way
  14. For sale are my 1965 walnut Klipschorns with cane grills. The serial numbers are 2D162 and 2D169 and they are model K-B-WO. I bought them from the original owner. He got them from his wife who had been married before and they were her first husband’s speakers. I think he said they got them in St. Louis. They had small dogs and they marked the sides of the grills. I was going to clean them but left them alone because they never really bothered me. The speakers are just how I received them and I’ve don’t nothing to alter their appearance. They are not perfect and have many bumps and bruises but overall they displayed nice in my home. Anybody wanting detailed pictures just let me know and I'll do whatever is needed. I'm asking $2500 I live 1.5 hours east of St. Louis, 3.5 hours south of Chicago, and 2 hours west of Indy. My zip code is 62461.
