Not alot is posted here about Technics receivers. They match up very well with Klipsch. I recently replaced my aging Technics Pro Logic receiver. I tried mid priced Digital receivers from Onkyo, Kenwood, JVC and Sony,in my home. None had the smooth warm sound of my old Technics. I ended up with a Technics SA DX1040. I'm very pleased with the sound. These are power house receivers S/N ratio 113 db!!

You can also try using a shop vac (or any vac with a hose attachment)to suck it back out. If it pulls it out you don't have to poke a hole in the dust cap.

I can't believe this! Look at this :http://www.homecinemachoice.com/testbench/index.html
This shows Klipsch with a two star rating! Worst of any of the speakers listed. What were they really listening to? Klipsch has never made any speaker that deserves this. They got a nasty gram from me.

I read many posts concerning sub placement. My question is: If placement is so critical then how can full range speakers be placed in an optimal location?
Powered speakers with built in subs would not make any sense at all. The placement for the best soundstage is not going to be in the same location as the placement for best bass response. Am I missing something? What if I were to use two KSW12's and put my front SF1's on top of the subs?
