  1. I have 2 Sub-12's in my system and IMHO, they sound great.
  2. I looked at the SVS subs and liked the design idea so the bass doesn't fire into the carpet. I removed the stock feet from the Sub-12 and used 1 1/4" dowel, 2" long and a 3/4" birch plywood for the plate. I utilized the existing screw holes in the bottom of the sub. The bass is definetely better now.
  3. I'm looking for another Sub-12, dead or alive, to add to the system.
  4. This picture is old and I've changed out a few things since then. My system consit of: Pioneer PDP-5020FD, PS 3 slim, Wii, Onkyo TX-SR705, HD FTA satellite, HD DVR (Brighthouse), APC H15 power conditioner, Harmony One remote, Ikea lED strips behind tv for backlighting. All cables and plasma wall mount from Monoprice. Klipsch B-3's for fronts on custom stands, C-3 center, 4 Quintet 3's for surrounds, modified Sub-12
  5. Thanks for the compliments everybody. Did anyone notice the Sub-12? I modified it after looking at SVS subs. The bass is much better now that it's not firing into carpet.
  6. I couldn't see paying 300 to 400 dollars for a pair of stands for my B-3's, so I made my own. They're 3/4 birch plywood, same width and depth as the B-3's and 31" tall, stained to match as best as I could. I used 20# of lead wright (scuba soft packs) in each stand. The wires run inside and out the bottom.
