  1. Hello, The seller posted Belle Klipsch speakers with BKTO with serials: 4w340, 4w34. What type of wood and finish is this? His asking price is $1800, from upper Wisconsin. What is a reasonable price for these speakers in the upper Mid West? Thanks you, hornlover60
  2. LarryC, Thank you for your help. I knew if I put my question out in this community someone would have an answer. Hornlover60
  3. Speakerfritz, Thank you for the information and t he picture. I did not realize the crossover had changed so much from the LS1. Hornlover60
  4. Hello, What was the factory crossover used in La Scala II's? Were they mainly constructed of MDF or plywood? Thank you in advance. Hornlover 60
  5. Audio Lovers, There is a set of La Scalas finished in walnut near my home on CL. Thgey are asking $1500 for the set. They are hand built with Klipsch drivers and the owner did not know what crossovers are in the speakers. Is this a high price for the midwest? Please advise. Thanks, Hornlover60
  6. bigTbarker, Thank you for the information. FYI, I do not have the space to fit a CW1 as a center channel. What is a fair price for a C7 and Academy? I am watching CL and Ebay. Thanks again, hornlover60
  7. HT Experts, I will be using 2 CW1's for L and R channels and need your advice on a center channel. Which is a better match, KLF-C7 or Academy? It seems the Klipsch community is evenly divided between these speakers as a center channel. Thank you in advance, Hornlover60
  8. Hello all, I am new to the forum. What can you tell me about Heresey speakers s/n 81T081 and 81T082. Are they 4 or 8 ohm? I would like to use them as bookshelf speakers for a HT set up. The main speakers are Cornwall 1's. I am not able to use an upright floor speaker, due to space limitations. Thanks for your help in advance, hornlover60
  9. I am a neophyte with HT set ups. I am going to rely on the expertise of the Klipsch community. What center channel and book shelf speakers would be a good match with Cornwall 1's as the main right and left channels. The Cornwalls are receiving a set of new capacitors. Any suggestions on AVR's? Should the AVR have provisions for 5 or 7 channels? Any suggestions on subs? My budget is approximately $2,000.00. Thanks in advance for your help, old school klipsch
