I've got the Bose Companion 5 speakers and they, too, are an inferior product. Watching Blu-ray movies just isn't the same. To me, the sound is flatter and the surround suffers.

So are you saying the buzzing has nothing to do with the control module going bad, but something on the sub unit?

I have the buzzing too. From what Klipsch support tells me, it's the control module that has been damaged. They recommended me to www.sybesmas.com or 1-800-456-4625 for further assistance. I have yet to contact them, but I'm seriously thinking of doing so as there isn't anything out there to replace these bad boys with IMO.

Wow, there isn't a day that goes by that I don't wonder this same exact thing. After the control module went on my Ultra 5.1's, I replaced them with the Bose Companion 5 system. There is no comparison. Klipsch is clearly superior. Plus, my Creative Titanium card is going to waste now. This would be a dream come true if they would go ahead and produce these.

Would you be willing to part with the control module only? Please let me know as mine is defective.
