  1. In my humble opinion since you got wonderful fronts that goes enough low for music so you should keep the sub only for the lfe channel and set the internal crossover of you avr to large for the front speakers.
  2. Have you heard a big difference between the f3 and rf82?
  3. I'm very surprised to see from your answer that the velodyne' deq are not so popular. Maybe it means that svs and hsu and the other internet subwoofer company makes excellent products in Usa. Unfortunately Svs subs cost about double in Europe Very deep extension could be a problem if your house is a flat
  4. New synergy line is here! http://www.klipsch.com/na-en/products/synergy/
  5. I live in Italy and here velodyne cost about $200 more than klipsch sub 12. Unfortunately we don't have svs or hsu. I don't know if there is a difference in quality to justify 200$ more.
  6. Why? Did had bad experience with klipsch subs? Do you think that velo integrated eq is a real plus?
  7. I got a f3 synergy ht setup. Now it's time to buy the subwoofer. I got these two options compatible with my budget: Velodyne deq-12 or Klipsch sub 12. Which one is the best?
  8. First of all thanks to all for the answer dgoreck I'd like to see a real measurement with calibrated microphone without the room gain effect. It would be nice to have it to compare with other subs. It's pretty strange that since its introduction on the market this sub has not been mesured by nobody. There is only one review with measure that is in room so it's nearly useless
  9. Hello to all, I have to buy a new subwoofer for my klipsch F3 synergy setup. A natural choiche would be the klipsch sub 12, but here in Italy the best subwoofer that money can buy under 500 euro is the velodyne cht-q 12 (deq-r for usa).Klipsch is considered cheap and boomy. Unfortunately we dont' have here your leading ht subs svs or hsu or bic or 123av or epik. So nearly no competition...[:^)] I'm not so convinced of all this superior margin...Yes there is no auto eq, but on extension and spl point of view I don't think they are so different. Is there any klipsch tech people who can provide an anechoic mesurement for the klipsch 12 sub? I would like to compare to the velodyne's
