They sound incredible guys im very happy I just tested them in some 2 channel jazz and then some hip hop .They sound even better then at the HT shop Even at super low level the clarity is amazing. Heres some quick pics of the unveiling

Same here they actualy almost sounded better the more I turned them up during my Demo . Well my 7's have a arrived its time to un-box []

Wow great review and very accurate I must add because some of the things you mentioned are exactly what I felt and was hearing with the exception of comparing it to the 7 because I never heard them . I also felt they really filled the room with very accurate and dynamic sound in 2 channel whitch is all I listened to also. Well thank you so much for the detailed review and making my new RF7II delivery first thing in the morning even more desirable . I know I listened to them for about 90 minutes or so before I made my decision but its good to know someone else heard what I was hearing with the new RF7II : )

Nice im glad you had a chance to audition them im sure they will start to become more available as the days go on at everyones local HT shops and I think they'll like what they hear . I know I did even when comparing them to my studio 60's ; ) I imagine you own the 7's and thats why you wanted to compare the two . I've been told that they should sound even better after there broke in so that will be a treat considering how good they sound now !!

The 2's sounded better to me, they sounded more dynamic, and more accurate. But that was to my ears .....

Wish I could help you but alI I can tell you is the 7II'S sounded incredible !! But as you know everyone has different taste and like all speakers and manufactures im sure there will be many different oppinions because folks always hear things differently whether its amps, avr's or speakers . This I know im very excited to be getting mine saturday : )

Oh I went with the Black even though the cherry is a mouth watering beautiful finish all my gear is piano black and or black lol and those 7's are so huge I was afraid the cherry would make them look even bigger in my place .

Congrats!! I know you're going to love them especially since you loved them in the store. Be sure to give us your impressions once you get them set up in your system and have had a chance to break them in a little. And don't forget to tell us what you have powering those beasts. I would go with Belles myself . Shorter , shallower and just a bit wider than LaScalas . They litterally dissapear in a room . Barely noticableVERY NICE !!!

YW I think the best way to describe the difference is a wider sound stage with the 7's and it almost sounded like the highs and vocals were more defined and when I switched back and fourth the sound just seemed to fill the room more with the 7's . Again the 82's were very nice but there was a definite difference and at the price there should be and there was . I think I would of been happy with the 82's if I didnt here the 7's and do a A B comparison .

That sounds like a expensive suggestion though lol []

LOL I think I will they really are beautiful sounding and looking speakers . They are huge though !
