A friend of mine bought the complete RX3 HT package with a Pioneer 710S receiver. (I recommended him the speakers but not the receiver since I have a Denon 2801). He was not happy with the sound and started to change settings. The best set up is with the "loudness" option enabled.
My question is: What does the loudness really do?
Thanks for your answers
Anubis, I have a Denon 2801 and if you look carefully you can find 2 "holes" for bare wire, one upper right and the other in the oposite side of the binding post. Just use both "holes".
Hope that helps you.
Please take me out of my ignorance!
What it means that a cable is 12 gauge (I am not native english speaker and don't know what the word "gauge" means). Please translate it to mm or another metric measure.
Hi Belial!
If you have the RB-5s wired through the ksw12 then you have to set the crossover at 100hz because that is the high pass crossover fixed fequency of ksw12.
Hope that helps you.
I think I am going to buy a Denon 2801. What do you think?.
First I´ll tell you about prices in Argentina:
Denon 2801: $1250
RF3: $1150
RC3: $455
RS3: $715
Pioneer 343 DVD: $500
Do you think is enough power for music and HT (room 18 x 36 feet)
Prices in us dollars.........
I am going to buy all the reference series speakers for home theatre and I have the Sony STR-DE945 amp. Reading different posts I think my receiver is not the perfect match for the speakers. Which receiver do you recomend?
Thanks
