  1. I have the (S4's) and the (x10i's) and use Magic Jack and was wondering if the functions work properly when used for Magic Jack or Skype using the 3.5mm (1 female to 2 male) splitter cable where you plug the phones into the female end and both male ends into the (mic) & (headphone) jacks on your laptop. Does anyone know if these functions work properly? Regardless if the mic & headphone functions work or not if you can't hear your own voice coming out of the phones it would be just like taking the phones and plugging them directly into your computer and using the computer's built in mic instead because if you can't hear your own voice coming out of the phones then when you went to talk to someone else it would sound like your talking inside your head with earplugs and wouldn't realize how loud you would be talking regardless if the mic and earphones work or not. Klipsch advertises on its website that these are Skype compatible with an adapter and I called and talked with them and found out which one you need and that the 3.5mm female to 2 male splitter is what you need which your phones plug into the female end and the 2 male ends plug into the mic & earphones jacks on the computer. I'm reading on Amazon that these are not working with the Apple in ear phones and also finding out through the reviews on Amazon's site that they'll work on just the in ear phones that just have the answer call button control but not working if the phones have the volume control. Can anyone confirm? I'd like to use mine with Magic Jack but there's been mixed reviews as far as compatibility issues go. Thanks for your response!
  2. I have both the (S4's) and the (x10i's) and the (x10i's) do use the armature drivers and the (S4's) use the micro drivers. Well believe it or not I like the (S4's) better and as far as the extra money paid for the (x10i's) I feel it doesn't justify all that extra cost over what the (S4's) can deliver. I like the (S4's better!!!) While the (x10i's) might have a better overall refined sound through the frequency spectrum the (S4's) definitely, yes definitely have more bass thump or more bass period! Professor Thump new what he was talking about when he said the S4's definitely have more bass. I much prefer the (S4's) over the (x10i's) hands down! []
  3. Probably best thing to do is purchase a Square Trade warranty and put Klipsch's warranty on the backburner. At least when your phones die under Square Trade's warranty you'll probably get your money back and then be able to repurchase a brand new pair all over again and start from the beginning as compared to Klipsch, even if they do replace them once it's going to eventually die again and then by that time you'll eventually have to throw that 2nd pair out and lose out completely whereas if your covered by Square Trade you'll never lose that investment. You just start over again. []
