  1. Since the RSW-15 might not be available for export, I'll probably get the SVS Ultra subwoofer. On the SVS site, there are three sub amps to select from: Samson S700, Samson S-1000, and Crown K-1 Power Amplifier. The S700 costs $389, the S-1000 costs $459, and the Crown K-1 costs $1099. My question is what are the main difference between these three sub amps. Secondly, is the Crown K-1 worth getting over the Samsons? ------------------ Home Theater (getting soon): TV: Sony KV-ES34M80 (34" FD Trinitron WEGA) DVD Player: Toshiba SD-5200 VCR: Sony SLV-ED100 (Hi-Fi VCR) Receiver: Yamaha RX-V3000 or Denon AVR-4802 Speakers - Center: Klipsch RC-7 Mains: Klipsch RF-7 Surrounds: Klipsch RS-7 Subwoofer: (Still deciding)
  2. Ah okay. But how do you think the SVS Ultras will compare to the RSW-15? ------------------ Home Theater (getting soon): TV: Sony KV-ES34M80 (34" FD Trinitron WEGA) DVD Player: Toshiba SD-5200 VCR: Sony SLV-ED100 (Hi-Fi VCR) Receiver: Yamaha RX-V3000 or Denon AVR-4802 Speakers - Center: Klipsch RC-7 Mains: Klipsch RF-7 Surrounds: Klipsch RS-7 Subwoofer: Klipsch RSW-15
  3. Since the RSW-15 has little chance that it will be available for export, I am considering the SVS Ultra subwoofers. My question is that what does the Samson amp do? Can't I just directly connect the subwoofer to my receiver? ------------------ Home Theater (getting soon): TV: Sony KV-ES34M80 (34" FD Trinitron WEGA) DVD Player: Toshiba SD-5200 VCR: Sony SLV-ED100 (Hi-Fi VCR) Receiver: Yamaha RX-V3000 or Denon AVR-4802 Speakers - Center: Klipsch RC-7 Mains: Klipsch RF-7 Surrounds: Klipsch RS-7 Subwoofer: Klipsch RSW-15
  4. But since I will be getting the RF-7s, RC-7, and RS-7s, I wanted the RSW-15 so the hold thing would match. Now I am thinking of getting the Rx-7s and not getting a subwoofer. If Klipsch shows signs of the RSW-15 exporting, then I'll be happy, if not, I'll then have to get the RSW-12. Another problem: I want the cherry color for the Rx-7s, but if I cannot get the RSW-15, I'll have to get the RSW-12 which only comes in black and that would not match with the rest of the set. I don't know what to do. ------------------ Home Theater (getting soon): TV: Sony KV-ES34M80 (34" FD Trinitron WEGA) DVD Player: Toshiba SD-5200 VCR: Sony SLV-ED100 (Hi-Fi VCR) Receiver: Yamaha RX-V3000 or Denon AVR-4802 Speakers - Center: Klipsch RC-7 Mains: Klipsch RF-7 Surrounds: Klipsch RS-7 Subwoofer: Klipsch RSW-15

  6. Yeah, I know that there is a 230V RSW-12, but I want the 15! ------------------ Home Theater (getting soon): TV: Sony KV-ES34M80 (34" FD Trinitron WEGA) DVD Player: Toshiba SD-5200 VCR: Sony SLV-ED100 (Hi-Fi VCR) Receiver: Yamaha RX-V3000 or Denon AVR-4802 Speakers - Center: Klipsch RC-7 Mains: Klipsch RF-7 Surrounds: Klipsch RS-7 Subwoofer: Klipsch RSW-15
  7. Yeah, I am VERY sure that there are many people overseas out there who want the RSW-15 just like ME! Klipsch! 10. The RF-7s, RC-7, and RS-7s do not have a voltage rating, right? Such as 110V or 220V. You just simply plug them in the receiver (110V or 220V) and let 'em rip, yeah? I know the RSW-15 is powered and so does have a voltage rating. Sorry, I am new to Home Theater. ------------------ Home Theater (getting soon): TV: Sony KV-ES34M80 (34" FD Trinitron WEGA) DVD Player: Toshiba SD-5200 VCR: Sony SLV-ED100 (Hi-Fi VCR) Receiver: Yamaha RX-V3000 or Denon AVR-4802 Speakers - Center: Klipsch RC-7 Mains: Klipsch RF-7 Surrounds: Klipsch RS-7 Subwoofer: Klipsch RSW-15

  12. Well, I read some more posts there and it seems to be the same receiver. ------------------ Home Theater (getting soon): TV: Sony KV-ES34M80 (34" FD Trinitron WEGA) DVD Player: Toshiba SD-5200 VCR: Sony SLV-ED100 (Hi-Fi VCR) Receiver: Yamaha RX-V3000 or Denon AVR-4802 Speakers - Center: Klipsch RC-7 Mains: Klipsch RF-7 Surrounds: Klipsch RS-7 Subwoofer: Klipsch RSW-15
  13. Oh! I didn't know that the name for the 220V-230V version was different. But counldn't they just call it the AVR-4802 also? Strange. But are you sure it is exactly the same receiver? The remote is different for the two. ------------------ Home Theater (getting soon): TV: Sony KV-ES34M80 (34" FD Trinitron WEGA) DVD Player: Toshiba SD-5200 VCR: Sony SLV-ED100 (Hi-Fi VCR) Receiver: Yamaha RX-V3000 or Denon AVR-4802 Speakers - Center: Klipsch RC-7 Mains: Klipsch RF-7 Surrounds: Klipsch RS-7 Subwoofer: Klipsch RSW-15
  14. The difference between the RSW-10 and RSW-12 seems quite big, but the difference between the RSW-12 and RSW-15 doesn't (accoding to specs). Do you think there is a big difference between the RSW-12 and RSW-15 in real life performance? ------------------ Home Theater (getting soon): TV: Sony KV-ES34M80 (34" FD Trinitron WEGA) DVD Player: Toshiba SD-5200 VCR: Sony SLV-ED100 (Hi-Fi VCR) Receiver: Yamaha RX-V3000 or Denon AVR-4802 Speakers - Center: Klipsch RC-7 Mains: Klipsch RF-7 Surrounds: Klipsch RS-7 Subwoofer: Klipsch RSW-15
  15. Well? I live in Dubai and what to find out. ------------------ Home Theater (getting soon): TV: Sony KV-ES34M80 (34" FD Trinitron WEGA) DVD Player: Toshiba SD-5200 VCR: Sony SLV-ED100 (Hi-Fi VCR) Receiver: Yamaha RX-V3000 or Denon AVR-4802 Speakers - Center: Klipsch RC-7 Mains: Klipsch RF-7 Surrounds: Klipsch RS-7 Subwoofer: Klipsch RSW-15
  16. Well, I don't live in Europe. I live in Dubai which is in United Arab Emirates. The local Klipsch dealer here does have the RF-7, RC-7, and RS-7 and those are expensive speakers. But why not the RSW-15? Maybe later on I hope. ------------------ Home Theater (getting soon): TV: Sony KV-ES34M80 (34" FD Trinitron WEGA) DVD Player: Toshiba SD-5200 VCR: Sony SLV-ED100 (Hi-Fi VCR) Receiver: Yamaha RX-V3000 or Denon AVR-4802 Speakers - Center: Klipsch RC-7 Mains: Klipsch RF-7 Surrounds: Klipsch RS-7 Subwoofer: Klipsch RSW-15
  17. Well?? Anyone know anything about this?? ------------------ Home Theater (getting soon): TV: Sony KV-ES34M80 (34" FD Trinitron WEGA) DVD Player: Toshiba SD-5200 VCR: Sony SLV-ED100 (Hi-Fi VCR) Receiver: Yamaha RX-V3000 or Denon AVR-4802 Speakers - Center: Klipsch RC-7 Mains: Klipsch RF-7 Surrounds: Klipsch RS-7 Subwoofer: Klipsch RSW-15
  18. I was just looking at the comparision chart of the subwoofers, and I noticed that he export voltage on the RSW-15 is "blank". This is also true for the RSW-10, but the RSW-12 does have an export voltage of 220V. Does this mean the RSW-10 and RSW-15 will be be availble for export?? NO!!! Because I live in Dubai! ------------------ Home Theater (getting soon): TV: Sony KV-ES34M80 (34" FD Trinitron WEGA) DVD Player: Toshiba SD-5200 VCR: Sony SLV-ED100 (Hi-Fi VCR) Receiver: Yamaha RX-V3000 or Denon AVR-4802 Speakers - Center: Klipsch RC-7 Mains: Klipsch RF-7 Surrounds: Klipsch RS-7 Subwoofer: Klipsch RSW-15
  19. Thanks. I'll try to get the AVR-4802 if I can find it here in Dubai, otherwise I'll have to get the RX-V3000. ------------------ Home Theater (getting soon): TV: Sony KV-ES34M80 (34" FD Trinitron WEGA) DVD Player: Toshiba SD-5200 VCR: Sony SLV-ED100 (Hi-Fi VCR) Receiver: Yamaha RX-V3000 or Denon AVR-4802 Speakers - Center: Klipsch RC-7 Mains: Klipsch RF-7 Surrounds: Klipsch RS-7 Subwoofer: Klipsch RSW-15
  20. Okay, thanks. But, what feautures does the Denon AVR-4802 have that the Yamaha RX-V3000 does not? And are there any features that the Yamaha RX-V3000 has that the Denon AVR-4802 does not? And both have about the same power output, right? ------------------ Home Theater (getting soon): TV: Sony KV-ES34M80 (34" FD Trinitron WEGA) DVD Player: Toshiba SD-5200 VCR: Sony SLV-ED100 (Hi-Fi VCR) Receiver: Yamaha RX-V3000 or Denon AVR-4802 Speakers - Center: Klipsch RC-7 Mains: Klipsch RF-7 Surrounds: Klipsch RS-7 Subwoofer: None (Waiting for Klipsch RSW-15)
  21. Well, I am not sure if I can audition the receivers, but I'll try. By the way, would you guys consider the Yamaha RX-V3000 the same standard of the Denon AVR-4802? ------------------ Home Theater (getting soon): TV: Sony KV-ES34M80 (34" FD Trinitron WEGA) DVD Player: Toshiba SD-5200 VCR: Sony SLV-ED100 (Hi-Fi VCR) Receiver: Yamaha RX-V3000 or Denon AVR-4802 Speakers - Center: Klipsch RC-7 Mains: Klipsch RF-7 Surrounds: Klipsch RS-7 Subwoofer: None (Waiting for Klipsch RSW-15)
  22. Few days ago I went to a to check out Home Theater equipment. They had some floorstanding speakers, not sure what brand, but they were hooked up to a DVD player and a Yamaha DSP-A1. During the Matrix helicopter smashing scene where the glass of the building shatters, the sound was HURTING my ears. It seemed WAY WAY too bright. Since I am deciding between the Denon AVR-4802 and the Yamaha RX-V3000, I am leaning more towards the Denon now because of this. The only problem is that I don't think they import the Denon AVR-4802 here in Dubai, but they do have the Yamaha RX-V3000 and the Denon AVR-3801. Any opinions/comments? Could this be because it was not set up right? Or is this normal for all Yamaha equipment? ------------------ Home Theater (getting soon): TV: Sony KV-ES34M80 (34" FD Trinitron WEGA) DVD Player: Toshiba SD-5200 VCR: Sony SLV-ED100 (Hi-Fi VCR) Receiver: Yamaha RX-V3000 or Denon AVR-4802 Speakers - Center: Klipsch RC-7 Mains: Klipsch RF-7 Surrounds: Klipsch RS-7 Subwoofer: None (Waiting for Klipsch RSW-15)
  23. Have you heard the Yamaha RX-V3000 also? If so, how do you think the two compare? ------------------ Home Theater (getting soon): TV: Sony KV-ES34M80 (34" FD Trinitron WEGA) DVD Player: Toshiba SD-5200 VCR: Sony SLV-ED100 (Hi-Fi VCR) Receiver: Yamaha RX-V3000 or Denon AVR-4802 Speakers - Center: Klipsch RC-7 Mains: Klipsch RF-7 Surrounds: Klipsch RS-7 Subwoofer: None (Waiting for Klipsch RSW-15)
